They throw money around to undeserving players all the time in the NBA,this is a blip on the radar.

That team was Kyrie and Lebron and defensive grinders like Jefferson and Tristan Thompson.

Flashy guys like JR and Shumpert were inconsistent and not key at all

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Cavs are seriously interested in signing point guard Mario Chalmers after he finishes his rehab from Achilles surgery and is cleared to make a return to the court. Chalmers is a former teammate of LeBron James, James Jones, and Chris Andersen from their tenure with the Miami Heat earlier this decade.

What Lebron wants Lebron gets. I will go out on a limb and say he'll have more money than MJ. JR Smith is not a good player and 4 year deal is preposterous. You give this type of player a 1 year because when he checks out you're on the hook writing checks to him for a looooong time.

If Smith fails this year, he'll never get his form back again. This will be an ugly deal for the Cavs.

Hell, Timofey Mozgov got $64 million. Delly is worth more than that stiff.

Lebron is good for getting players paid.

Go back and watch Game 7 at the start of the 3rd quarter and come back. CAVS were down like 8 and on the verge of being blown out JR smith hit 9 straight and changed the whole momentum of the game. They won Game 7 and he had a large part in it.

Role players dont need to be consistent. They need flashes of greatness at key moments. Thats exactly what he provides
