Brandon Jennings NYK 1 YR/ 5 Million -STEAL- MARK THIS THREAD!

I remember when he used to be in the backcourt with Monta Ellis with the Bucks. Jennings in only 26 years old. This is THE BEST MOVE THAT THE KNICKS HAVE MADE in accordance with money. FINALLY PHIL< penetrating FINALLY.

Key- Jennings needs to stay healthy. I checked out his tweet. He's thrilled to be a NYK and play at MSG. Knicks fans are THRILLED to have him. Problem is Phil made some poor moves but this makes up for a bad move or two. I absolutely love this pickup. Nice and cheap also.

He always wanted to play for the Knicks, even before his whole draft kerfuffle and he ended up playing foreign ball years back.

Agreed, good move for risk/reward. Phil hasn't done a lot right in his tenure but this is a good (if not hugely significant) move.

He was a stud with the Bucks. Rose will set him up to score and he can create himself. I promise, if healthy, this is the Knicks best pick and its for peanuts. Needed some youth also. PERFECT

I'm surprised that more people don't think that this is an excellent move. New York has spent a ton of money on players that were once good. Now, they barely spend a penny on a guy that will give them 15 plus points per game and can dish the rock. The upside is huge and the price tag is laughable.

Phil will be fired or quit by the end of 2017 season. Nothing he does will be remembered. Save your breath

Picking Porzingis most definitely will be remembered, albeit he fell into Phil's lap on draft night.

    Wrong again, Baldy.

They'll make the playoffs if they can stay healthy, tho that ain't saying much in the East.

And they'll get bounced fairly quickly (2nd round) so, nothing to get real excited about.

Dude getting to the 2nd round is like winning a title for the New York teams right now.

He'll play great for one year, parlay that into a 5yr/80mdeal, then be an oft injured role player the rest of his career.
    Book it!

Noah will be injured and this will be the worst defensive team in the league. 30 wins max.

Free agent guard Brandon Jennings is headed overseas for the coming season, according to Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. Jennings tells Spears that he has agreed to a one-year, $1.5MM deal in China with Shanxi. Spears adds that the veteran hopes to return to the NBA once the Chinese season ends next year.

Jennings, who will turn 28 in September, was a reliable backcourt scoring option during his first six NBA seasons, but has seen his role and impact decline over the last couple years. After playing for the Pistons and Magic in 2015/16, Jennings played for the Knicks and Wizards in 2016/17, heading from New York to Washington in a deadline trade in February.
