    Kobe vs LeBron

Ratzz/Menses, your input is not wanted here guys.

Where does this stand now? I've always been a Kobe guy but everyone has to acknowledge we have a real debate now.

I don't think 3-4 vs 5-2 is a thing, it's just a product of one playing in the East where it's easier to make the finals harder to win them and one in the West where it's harder to make the finals and easier to win them. Assuming LeBron makes another 3 finals I think we disregard the records.

Starting to look like a Federer/Nadal type debate. I think at this point it's just about who your personal preference is.

Different players. Thing is Kobe was the best closer in the game. Lebron doesn't close like Kobe but pads the stat card. He is everywhere doing everything. Kyrie won this series. Lebron kept them in it. Kyrie played like Kobe at the end of this game.

LeBron has won THREE FINALS MVP's

    4 LEAGUE MVP's

If Kobe did not play in the first three championships..
    then Lakers WIN ANYWAYS..

in the first one, Kobe averaged 16 PPG in the Finals vs. Pacers..
    and SHAQ averaged 38 PPG

NOBODY else won the Finals MVP when James played in all games.

Kobe missed TWO GAMES vs. the Pacers (and Lakers still won in 6)

Kobe is no longer in the discussion.

at the beginning of the season, ESPN did the TOP 100 Players ALL-TIME

Kobe was no.12 and Lebron was no.3 behind Jordan and Kareem.
and that is BEFORE this series.

Kobe could NEVER do this. EVER.

    LeBRON BLOWS Kobe away.

Lebron already has MORE Finals MVPs in 7 LESS years.
(and Kobe played in a LARGE market, with a stacked team EVERY year until he chased everyone away)

Lebron will never chase away great players.
