To even it out, NBA wants as many games as possible

Adams essentially a no namer so NBA was right not to suspend Green. Now you try any funny business against the NBA's #1 Superstar and revenue generator, ratings draw then be prepared to face the music. I don't care who you are, you don't mess with Lebron, common sense dictates this logic. Green ain't a superstar more of a blue collar grinder who is good at what he does. Lebron is NBA's untouchable and he's a protected player. Right move by the NBA

Golden State won't need him for Game 5. I think they close it out monday. Cavs play Kevin Love too much, and that's the killer for them.

He was suspended because that play was judged a flagrant and that gave him an accumulation of points. Not because it was deemed worse than what happened vs. OKC.

Silver is a joke. Funny how he got suspended for this when they want cleveland to extend the series, yet they didn't suspend him when they were down against oklahoma city. F him. This is about business. Golden state will win anyway as they are significantly better and losing green won't make up the difference for cleveland. Silver knows the only thing he can legitimately do to influence the outcome is suspending players.

NBA wants the Warriors there, doesn't suspend Green vs OKC.
NBA now wants more money, needs Game 6 possibly Game 7. Give Green Tech, he is now suspended due to points system. Which gives the Cavs life to extend the series = more Ticket sales, TV time/ratings and most importantly more money.

not sure why its so difficult for so many so called fans to understand this. Lots of complaining when they clearly do not get the rules.

We know the rules. The point here is he should have been suspended vs okc and then gsw wouldn't be here.

funny part is that the books knew before everyone so they can adjust their lines. Just shows you how corrupt sports are that the leagues feel a need to tell the books first before the public. Why should they even care about the oddsmakers if this stuff was on the up and up? If u think these two don't work hand and hand maybe u should stop handicapping.

Something odd is that they say he will be allowed to participate in the after game celebration if the Warriors win, but he's banned from the arena until then. Is he supposed to sit in a car outside the arena during the game and come in after they win???

It's not like they suspended him. They gave him a flagrant. If he didn't already have so many tech's and flagrants from the previous playoff games he'd be playing.

What took so long? Why the drawn out process?

Because he was given another chance. That's why he wasn't suspended the first time. He clearly is selfish and unable to control himself. After a few times it's clear its on purpose.

don't speak for everyone buddy. You may know the rules, but many don't. I was meaning that in general. Look at the comments on ESPN or BR. It's funny at first then it just gets annoying.

Because Warriors are up 3-1... if it was 3-3 then Green would be playing.

It's a good way for the NBA to put some juice back in the series.

Yup, win-win for the NBA. Discipline Green, and see a ratings spike.

A lot of people do. The league could have given Green a technical; which makes more sense because that wasn't a flagrant foul. In that case, green would not have been suspended. What's flagrant about what Draymond did? The league saw an opportunity that would benefit them and took it. Not a coincidence the league goes against what the fans feel is fair; should have suspended him vs okc and not deserving a flagrant for the the lebron james incident. It's self-serving when they decide what the penalty is.
