Spurs +225 is pulling at me

It's like I saw a 6 in the bar, tied on a buzz and now she's an 8. Of course Iggy being out is a big factor so I dont take last night's loss too seriously. He was out in San Antonio too and Curry isn't going to shoot that poorly often. The Spurs defensive strategy did look damn good though and with this likely being the last rodeo for the big 3 combined with last year's humbling exit at the hands of the shitty clippers I feel like the Spurs will lock the Warriors down in 6 in the conference finals with no one else to take that seriously in the way. I feel like GS and SA should be about the same price making this price sexy.

    Thoughts?

    I think a decent bet

Some still think Cavs will be tough but I doubt it

I think cleveland will be somewhat tough but man they are so dysfunctional.

    They need a better coach.

Are you insane, Steve? That's a terrible price. +225?

Just take your money and parlay them on each individual series.

It'll be way more than +225. It has to be.

Lebron is a good coach. He has led his teams to many finals appearances.

As for your bet I'm not sure I see any value.

    Look at this.

    First-round versus scrub team: -3000
    Second round versus OKC: -300
    Third-round versus GS: +150
    championship versus Cleveland: -160

    +459!!!!

I'm kinda surprised the line is that high for the Warriors to win it all. They're not that damn much better than the Spurs.

One in you do know for sure, Spurs will be the fresher team

Really? I thought I was being generous only making them +150.

Golden State is a generational thing. Possibly the greatest team ever.

If Golden State wasn't having this great year we would be shitting our pants about the Spurs year.

    Luke Walton seems pretty cool.

    Very true Hooper.

    No doubt about it.

I think the Spurs can win a championship. I just don't think there is any value in +225. Run any combination of numbers you think through a parlay calculator, and it's going to be much higher than +225.

Giant they will be more than -160 vs Cleveland also a chance they are like -1200 vs Charlotte or someone. But you have the right idea they may be near +225 against GS alone.

Get out of here with that Charlotte talk.

But even if they do, you're right about facing Golden State. That line might cover the +225 all by itself.

    +225 is a horrible wager.

Hopefully Steve isn't too medicated and can understand what I'm saying. I love that guy.

You see why Pop rested his stars now ?
    Not getting home court throughout.
Warriors aren't beating Spurs in San Antonio.
He knows he needs 1 win at Golden State. .
    He's a very smart coach
I think they can beat GS at home once .
    Not a bad bet IMO

Which means spurs will have to win 2 times in oakland. Not happening.

Game 2 in 2013 series. Regular season is not relevant.

You asked when they won last in san an. I answered and I told you reg season is not relevant cause if they meet in the playoffs it won't be a reg season game and everyone knows reg season results mean nothing in the playoffs.

Similar to NFL , if you like a certain team to win it all , instead of going the lazy route and getting the # ( Spurs +225 ) you would just ride the ML all the way home . Waaaaaay more value . Up to your whether you'd ride that out through games or take the series

I think it's +225 to win the west. 5Dimes has Spurs +335 to win the finals

Vegas seems to love GSW, but Spurs are obviously a solid team (look at their point differential). One thing to consider is that GSW has the home field advantage in all series.

GS is not the same because they both have to meet in the WCF as a 1 and 2 seed. Aren't you better off taking them if the series actually happens with the certainty?
