The Spurs should frighten absolutely everyone

I know my strong Cavs futures fear them the most -- they have almost 3 NBA starting fives on that team and the best coach in the league and the best point differential. I think Cavs and Spurs are headed for a showdown. Look at this lineup for spurs

    12 LaMarcus Aldridge PF 30 6-11 240 Texas $19,689,000
    1 Kyle Anderson SF 22 6-9 230 UCLA $1,142,880
    15 Matt Bonner C 35 6-10 235 Florida $947,276
    33 Boris Diaw C 33 6-8 250 $7,500,000
    21 Tim Duncan C 39 6-11 250 Wake Forest $5,250,000
    20 Manu Ginobili SG 38 6-6 205 $2,814,000
    14 Danny Green SG 28 6-6 215 North Carolina $10,000,000
    2 Kawhi Leonard SF 24 6-7 230 San Diego State $16,407,500
    40 Boban Marjanovic C 27 7-3 290 $1,200,000
    23 Kevin Martin SG 33 6-7 199 Western Carolina $200,600
    24 Andre Miller PG 39 6-3 200 Utah $250,750
    8 Patty Mills PG 27 6-0 185 Saint Mary's $3,578,947
    9 Tony Parker PG 33 6-2 185 $13,437,500
    17 Jonathon Simmons SG 26 6-6 195 Houston $525,093
    30 David West PF 35 6-9 250 Xavier $1,499,187

Adding Andre Miller and Kevin Martin is downright stealing -- they were already by point differential and defensive standards the best team in the league this year -- but NOW...wow...anyhow probably going to hedge my Cavs futures a bit on the Spurs because they stand a chance to beat the Cavs and I think they should get out of the west pretty easily

Spurs or Cavs are your future -- Cavs most likely -- but this Spurs team starting to look a little bit special too -- I think we finally get the epic cavs spurs series we have been waiting for and Kyrie is the make or break

Whose injury will be more lethal to his teams' chances in this postseason?

    James or Curry?

Anyhow this thread is about the spurs - they are being overlooked while statistically they are the best and deepest team in the league with the best coach

Gambling is about value - you know what is valuable? How about 3.5 to 1odds for the best statistical team in the game to win it all? Or the exact same odds for a team that is a lock to be in the finals? The same five Duke warrior bandwagonwers keep doubting but meanwhile I am exposing the best value on the board

What happened to the Cavs being the biggest guaranteed lock ever?

Oh well, at least you came to your senses before it was too late. Lots of value in the Spurs, plus this might be a better Spurs roster, than the five that won championships.

Yeah this spurs team is one of the deepest and most talented io have ever seen - Cavs vs. Spurs finals seems imminent and I could see cavs win that series only if kyrie takes Kobe's advice to heart and performs like a killer - either way I am adding some spurs futures to my portfolio

And cavs are a lock - to win the east - I think only the spurs could stop them in a finals matchup

yea the cavs who just got dominated by the jazz... I get that youre a huge cavs fan, but theres literally not ONE person who thinks that the cavs have any REAL chance of beating warriors or spurs.. Sure, i think cavs will get to the finals and have a small chance to win, but it seems unlikely. I think you forget that Bron Bron disappears late in games and cant hit a shot in the last 2 minutes because he is terrible at shooting.

If kyrie steps up they will be able to beat anyone - and I expect him to step up huge this playoff

Cavs and spurs are both plus 350 and both offer great value - warriors this postseason will offer you better then -130 so from a pure mathematic perspective the plays I feature are better value - value is what gambling is about - not ridiculously cliché avatars that belong in your frat basement you dingle

I just like that you have a donkey in your avatar...serves you well...

I am a die hard Lakers fan. Back in the day I used to have to try to convince my friends why the Lakers were better than the Bulls. I refused to believe that Michael Jordan was Michael Jordan. Much like how you want to convince yourself that the Warriors aren't the Warriors...and Steph isn't Steph. Well Steph gonna Steph and you just have to embrace it for what it is...it's called history. And they are making it...

Good luck to you my man...reality is a hard thing to accept sometimes. Peace, love and happiness...

Yes Spurs are scary good at AT&T but the Warriors are just as scary good at Oracle so if the Warriors hang on to the #1 seed they will advance to the Finals by beating the Spurs in 7 games.
