Warriors open as a 2 point fave @ OKC

Huge Saturday night primetime matchup on ABC.

Thunder need this game way more than the Warriors do. I expect them to go balls out. Sometimes that translates into big wins. Sometimes it translates into turnovers and bad shots.

This game is utterly meaningless. Fun to watch though.

Mental hurdle. You and tat are right, it means nothing. I think OKC has something to prove though.

Haven't made up my mind on this one.

I automatically assume your threads are useless. You yourself admitted to not knowing anything about the NBA. Flip it's Friday man please don't tell me you're spending tonight on SBR again.

I would say Thunder in this spot coming off the losses but who knows. The times you think they show up, they don't. Warriors do look beatable now. Regression is coming.

OKC can beat them. If it's a close game then Golden State has the edge because they've been coming through in that situation late in games so often.

Honestly westbrook needs to dominate curry for the Thunder to beat the Warriors. It's that simple. THere's so many other x's and o's and matchups to look at but if thunder are gonna win westbrook needs to win that battle on both ends of the floor.

Agreed. Running through screens makes it tough but they have the right pieces to help on D and still recover.

Too much 1 on 1 with Durant and Westbrook. No way they beat Warriors playing like that.

Warriors haven't been playing their best ball since allstar break. They've only lost once, but had some close ones with LA and Miami.
This will be a good one.

Even if OKC wins, my opinion of them isn't going to change.

They've got two great players that can dominate and win games playing one on one ball but the defense is atrocious. This is the worst they've ever been on defense.

Losing Perkins and Fisher didn't hurt from a talent perspective but I think it hurt the team bc there is no accountability.

They'll still win a lot of games and overcome deficiencies based on Westbrook and Durant alone but they'll lose in the second round unless the culture changes. Teams get wide open shots all the time against them.

I almost feel like the players listened to Brooks more than Donovan.

New York or LA should hire Brooks and go after Durant.

It's not an on the court thing, it's a locker room thing.

Fisher and Perkins held people accountable.

That's my only explanation. This team supposedly got better with the additions they made by their defense is a lot worse.

They've played one of the easiest schedules in the NBA so far too. It's just not starting to toughen up.

If I see Singler on the court tomorrow I might throw up.

Since experts believe that the Thunder are legitimate contenders, shouldn't they have single digit losses like SA and GS?? Van Gundy? Stephen A?

The mere fact that the Thunder need or want this game will cause them to play even less defense, if Durant gets 44 Curry will get 54! Westbrook is neutralized by the rest of the GS warriors. Steve Kerr can do jedi mind tricks will baby Donovan all night.

Thunder can't get stops, that is the bottom line. If they win outright it just proves that they haven't been trying on defense all season, if they don't win, then they are incapable of defense at any time.

Thunder have the maturity of a little boy in 3rd grade. superstars need to be coddled. poor little babies have to play some defense. waaahhhh.
