CAVS flat out better than the Spurs

Cavs were asleep in the game in San Antonio...
and they controlled the pace.. and still lost by only 4 pts..

Cavs are just getting started with Lue, and they are
evidently the superior team on the floor.

i think Lue's system, really makes the best of everyone's
playing style.. and they are much faster.. having fun and scoring Pts.
    against the leagues best Defense

once everyone's familiar with the system...
where will the Cavs be in 10 games.. 20 games..?

Posting this late in the 3rd with a 17 point lead and Spurs playing with West at center.

Cavs will be the 5th best team in the NBA in 10 games, ditto in 20 games.

    Cats are NOT rested..

they are on a traveling B2B... they just played.. (and very well mind you) just 24 hrs ago

for a team that is NOT rested ..to put up 66 Pts on the best D.

    Riddle me this?
Do you start this thread if the Cavs are down 3 in the third?

This thread has no credibility considering when and where you started it.

You are calling the Cavs the superior team.
Maybe this game, but from where I sit, Cavs are just holding serve.
Cavs lost in San An, let's concede this game and say Spurs lost at the Q

Series even, both teams win at home.
How exactly are the Spurs inferior.

    a) only bet I have in this game is the over 203.5 and I am counting that cash right now.
    b) I'm from Connecticut, not a Spur homer, don't care for Knicks or Celtics, Knicks have my attention but are going nowhere until they get a PG.

I'm a realist, James is elite, Love is a nice power forward, Irving is not elite but more than serviceable.
They have nothing else, Cavs are piss poor at center, Mozgov is a joke, Tristan is sub par, the Cavs are sub par at shooting guard too,
    Cavs are flawed.

Bosh, Wade, and a healthy Whiteside can knock off Cleveland in a playoff series, Toronto with their two guards DeRozen and Lowry are far better than Irving and Smith or whoever they trot out as the 2 guard.

Miami is the best defensive team in the east, Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka are better than the Cav big three, Adams is better at center than anything Cavs start, what[s that say?

Yeah, you want to tell me the Cavs are the superior team this game, spot on slick, but don't be betting the mortgage Cleveland is winning any titles this season, shit, they may not even get out of their own conference, don't sleep on Miami, just saying.

nasher ratzz actually does fairly well with his posted picks from what i've seen but he's as biased as they come on these boards. there's no sense in trying to have any conversation kobe or lebron (or lakers/cavs for that matter) related with him because he has such a blind hatred for one and such a blind adoration for the other.

He's good, but Cleveland is flawed, and there a teams less flawed, and I seriously think Cleveland is not going to have a free ride out of the East, and if they do escape the East, there are two or three teams out of the West that can croak them

Please don't tell me you deny that. Even you must know it's true. And that's cool. As long as that doesn't prevent you from winning your plays - no harm in taking sides.

different coach, totally different system.. like a bad GF..

Blast good coach, but wrong for this team.

Lue ex-player. this is what LeBron wanted ALL ALONG...
could not identify with the coach... understandable.

I really don't think Jordan, Shaq would have have responded very well to a 5'6" pencil pusher.

The 2 teams that have the best personnel to challenge them are probably Chicago and Indiana. I see where you're coming from with Miami but I don't see Deng staying with LeBron for a 7 game series and Miami just doesn't have enough shooting in today's NBA to be considered a legit threat. If they try to stick Winslow out there it might work on defense but he can't shoot to save his life.

Chicago gave the Cavs a good go last year and they should be able to do it again. Indiana is a sneaky pick for a possible upset of the Cavs too if they can click a bit better and maybe add a piece via trade. They have the personnel defensively to be able to guard the Cavs' best players and are much more of a threat offensively than, say, Miami. The Hawks/Celtics aren't built for playoff ball and the Pistons are a novice team so they're not a threat either. Raptors? Not sure. They're the one team I don't really have a set opinion on yet. They do have a loser tag to shed after losing 1st round series with homecourt in back to back years for sure though.

there is not even close to a team in the east that can beat cleveland in a 7 gane series let alone even make a series happen - cleveland to win the east is as big a lock as there is in sports

That was Cavs without Love and Irving also missing some serious playing time. It still didn't feel like there was much doubt who was advancing. Maybe the new coach will make a difference for Chicago, but they never seem to have it come playoff time and Lebron has absolutely tortured them.

An equally big lock is for the Warriors to bitch slap the panzy ass Cavs and LeBron in the Finals again,,just like a few days back when the Cavs were embarrassed in their own building.

Doesn't really matter if the Cavs are better than the Spurs because they still aren't going to win a championship
