    OverUnder's Over/Under Formula (First Time Going Public)

    This is my first time going public with my formula, but since January 1 my winning percentage using this formula is 77 percent. I am sure now that I posted these they will all be losers, but oh well I do promise to you all that I have 1U bets on every one of these games.

    Orlando vs. Indiana my formula says 200.5 the line is 210 so your play for the game is.... under 210


    Dallas vs. Washington my formula says 200 the line is 198.5 so your play for the game is .... Over 198.5


    New Orleans vs. Memphis my formula says 202.5 the line is 203.5 so your play for the game is.... under 203.5


    Toronto vs. Milwaukee my formula says 202.5 the line is 205.5 so your play for the game is....under 205.5


    New Jersey vs. Phoenix my formula says 205 the line is 218.5 so your play for the game is.... under 218.5


    Golden State vs. Denver my formula says 215 the line is 230 so your play for the game is.... under 230


    Utah vs. San Antonio my formula says 197 the line is 193.5 so your play for the game is.... over 193.5


    Chicago vs. Los Angeles Clippers my formula says 199 the line is 197 so your play for the game is.... over 197

    Locked In January 22nd Plays (11-9 Y.T.D.)

    Sacramento @ Orlando my formula says 201 the line is 206.5 which is 5.5 points in favor for the under. Previously this season the total score was 197, and the Magic are only allowing 96.5 points per game at home. The play here is definitely Under 206.5

    New Jersey @ Golden State my formula says 213 the line is 216.5 which is 3.5 points in favor for the under once again. Previously this season the total score between the teams was 194, and New Jersey at times can not make shots no matter how bad the defense is. I like New Jersey to try to control the tempo of the game here by slowing and down and force feeding Brook Lopez down low. The play here is Under 216.5

    Chicago @ Phoenix my formula says 215.5 the line is 220 which is 4.5 points in favor for the under yet again. This is the first matchup between the two teams, but with Brad Miller and Salmans playing hurt I feel like the Bulls will be going low in this one. The play is Under 220

    Los Angeles Lakers @ New York Knicks my formula says 198 the line is 203 which is 5 points in favor for the under for the fourth time in a row. I agree with this pick because of Los Angeles on the east coast and playing back to back games, after a tough loss in a battle against Cleveland last night. Previously this season when the two teams played their total was 190, another reason to like the under. The play is under 203

    Charlotte @ Atlanta my formula says 192 the line is 189.5 which is 2.5 points in favor of the over for this first time tonight. Charlotte is playing the best basketball of anyone since the beginning of 2010 and the two teams combined have been averaging a total of 198 this season. Previously when they played they only scored 186, but I still agree with the formula because Charlotte is a new team, and they are shooting well. Also, Atlanta is averaging 107 ppg at home this season. Your play here is definitely over 189.5

    January 23 Formulated Over/Under Plays

    Philadelphia 76ers @ Indiana Pacers
    My Formula: 201.5
    Line: 208
    Play: Under 208
    Analysis: Both teams are not good offensively averaging a combined 196 points per game, their defenses are nothing special allowing a combined 204 points per game. This is the first time they have played this year, but I look for a cold shooting night offensively, and a sloppy game.


    Portland Trail Blazers @ Detroit Pistons
    My Formula: 183
    Line: 182
    Play: Over 182
    Analysis: When imputing the data I made sure I rounded down every statistic in order to support the under, but I still can not get myself to take underneath such a low number. They both play a very slow tempo, but I still see a 97-91 game here which would be a solid victory for the over. What scares me in this pick is the previous match up they scored a combined 168, but every other statistic supports the over for this game.


    Oklahoma City Thunder @ Cleveland Cavaliers
    My Formula: 193.5
    Line: 190
    Play: Over 190
    Analysis: Cleveland is averaging 100.8 points per game at home this season, and Oklahoma City is averaging 97.3 on the road. Their two average point totals combined on defense with their respective splits (home and away) is 191.3. The play here is certainly over 190.


    Chicago Bulls @ Houston Rockets
    My Formula: 197.5
    Line: 199
    Play: Under 199
    Analysis: This is the first match up this season with these two teams. Houston is only average 93 points per game on the road, and the Bulls are giving up 100 points per game at home this season. Houston has a great defense, but no identity offensively. Chicago is coming off of a monster scoring game last night which historically means a low scoring affair tonight. This is a game where I feel neither team has that go to scorer, while I feel Derrick Rose will eventually hold that role for the Bulls, he is still to young to earn that title. Under is the play here.


    Golden State Warriors @ Phoenix Suns
    My Formula: 231
    Line: 233
    Play: Under 233
    Analysis: This game is the opposite of the Portland and Detroit game as the notorious high scoring teams. We all know how much these two can score, and I am only making a pick on this game because it is always a fun one to bet. They have played twice already this season with 224 being scored in the first meeting, and 259 scored in the second!!! The good news is the Suns are playing back to back nights which combined with the formula allows me to take the under here.

    Analysis: The Lakers are in Toronto for the first time this season, and practically it is also their first time on the road. They have been averaging 96 points per game on the road this year, and they should dictate the pace of this game. Under here by a land slide in my opinion.
