I think the Spurs win the series in 5, but I wouldn't give 7.5. I will probably pass on sides in first two games and concentrate on totals. Spurs should be good bet middle three games in Cleveland though.

And I'm NOT a harsh guy on this board, nor am I a homer. I'll bet against the Spurs any day of the week if I think it will make me money. That 7.5 line tells me that I should be tempted to play Cleveland and the points (which is what most people will inevitably do). That said, I hopped on an adjusted line of SA -2.5 (-250), and teased SA and the Under (4.5 points). That should negate any potential backdoor cover, though I'll tell ya', I think the Spurs win by dd tonight. If Cleveland had some experience at this level, or if they were playing a team with little experience on this stage, then I'd give them a little more wiggle room. That said, they are playing a team that absolutely thrives in this situation. The outcome of this game (and this series) will never really be in doubt. Cleveland ML in game 1 of the finals is insane.

I agreed with you Razz that Game 1 would be the highest scoring game of the series, and I foolishly played the Over. However, I will also be with you on the Under the rest of the way. Including last night, the Under is now 35-22, 61.4% in all NBA Finals games since 1997, and the 19 games the Spurs have been involved in during this 10-year study have averaged a paltry 168.7 points!

As for the sides, I will hold true to my word of passing the games in San Antonio and only considering playing the Spurs in Cleveland.
