Indiana Pacers +2.5 vs Boston Celtics

Seems like Indiana is still a tad underrated by the books that I like them in this spot. Boston have only beaten a turnover prone, brick shot prone Philadelphia. Against the good teams like the Spurs and Raptors they've come up a bit short. I think Indiana get this one done at home. Despite improving their defence the offence has a bit left to be desired and they cannot rely on Isiah Thomas to come off the bench and provide if David Lee, Jae Crowder and Tyler Zeller have another poor shooting night especially considering the Pacers have tighened their defence in their most recent win against the Pistons.
I wouldn't mind having a dabble on the Paul George on the Player props markets to hit the 'over' on points scored but this early into the season I may leave it. Boston struggled to contain him before he was injured but it's a much different team this time around.
But I think the Pacers have enough points in them with George and Ellis leading the way to get the job done at home.
Over 195.5 on Brooklyn Nets @ Atlanta Hawks

I'll take the low over on the total here considering how high these teams are capable of scoring but especially with how poor Brooklyn have been defending over their past four games. They've conceded over 100 points against Milwaukee, San Antonio, Memphis and Chicago.
The Hawks have picked things up since their opening day loss to the Pistons and last year were one of the highest scoring average teams in the East last year and despite being a bit off the pace this year they should be able to put 100+ points against Brooklyn in this matchup.
I am not too worried about the talks of players being rested against Atlanta as they should still field a decent lineup with Tiago Splitter and Dennis Schroder but this early in the season is still a bit touch and go with the roster. I am not too worried about the Nets shooting woes as they can play good quarters and Center Brook Lopez has been scoring well for them and against Atlanta in general
Under 201.0 on San Antonio Spurs @ Washington Wizards

It is no secret that the Spurs have been working on the defensive front during the pre-season and now regular season, and probably one of the best in the NBA in my opinion. Tim Duncan may be getting older but he is still an excellent defender not in terms of athleticism like Leonard but he has defensive smarts to be in the right places on the court at the right times.
The offense is still a work in progress utlizing the strengths of LMA and Leonard in the post-up as well as the reduction of 3 point shots that they take. I think that will get better as they have 82 games t work it all out but for the time being against a capable Washington defense I think is enough to go the under.
Now the great thing about a good defensive team is that it forces the opposition to sometimes take bad rushed shots which Washington are guilty of. They may have scored against the Knicks and Milwaukee but against the improved Orlando/Skiles defense they only managed 88 points. And against a Spurs offense that is still figuring a few things out they should be given a bit of a break on the defensive front.
This line is probably a bit shorter because how Portland have surprised a few people but I think the defense of the Grizzlies will put a stop to it. Adding to that that Portland struggled to guard Memphis' front court even when LMA was there I think will make it more difficult for the Blazers even at home. They've had a solid outing against them last year and I expect that to continue this season as well
Oklahoma City Thunder +1.0 @ Chicago Bulls
1u @ 1.925 on Pinnacle
I know the Thunder are on a back to back but their offense is good despite a bizzare collapse against Houston in the 2nd half. They just need to cut down on the turnovers (bench notably DJ Augustin) a tad but their offense will be in good knick against a Bulls team who have been somewhat less then spectacular. Rose is struggling too much and Westbrook is a good defensive guard to keep on him. I have seen enough from Durant's offense to suggest he will keep it going for another day.
