Tonight is Cleveland's only win in this series.

The game they have the best chance to win is probably game 4 but I think the Warriors take both and end it in game 5. The Spurs played 2 atrocious games (bar the last 4-5 minutes of game 1) to start the finals last year pretty much exactly like Golden State just did and we know what happened there (also remember Leonard playing 2 subpar games kinda like Curry just did). This series pretty much has the same feel. Cleveland is so overmatched it's not even funny, and sooner or later that will show. They perhaps have more hunger than that Miami team last year but hunger can only take you so far against a superior team.

Expect most guys to disagree but that's ok.

    Nah

    It goes 7

    I can see Cleveland winning

Lebron winning the championship for Cleveland is a bigger story than a skinny phaggot who chews his mouth piece sideways winning for GSW and their yuppie fanbase

I already posted my thoughts in your thread Seto, but I disagree. Cavs are locked in. Too much goofing around by GS. They're young and dumb.

Series is pretty even i think.

The Bucks winning the NBA championship would've been a fabulous story too. Why didn't that happen again?

nobody's laughing. i assure you. especially in Oakland.

GSW lucky to get away with one, no way they should have gone OT in either game, considering who is out,
    and WHERE they are playing..

the league MVP at HOME vs, a super-banged up squad?

Ignore any poster who's reason for a team winning is a "story-line" or because "the nba wants them to win." lol.

Will they goof around now that the Cavs have their attention though? The Kyrie thing was a major part of tonight's game. My original thought after game 1 was that today would be a blowout but there's always that uneasiness after a major injury. I obviously didn't think Cleveland would win either but I can't say I'm overly shocked.

It might end up like the Memphis series where they take 1 more game to figure it out but Memphis is much better than Cleveland without Irving so I doubt it.

Yeah I mean there's always the old "team of destiny" thing, Mavs in 2011 after all the playoff disappointments, nobody on their team had a ring, Dirk's last shot, the Heat in 2012 after LeBron's game 6 in Boston, the Spurs last year after the way they lost the previous year. But at the end of the day you still have to beat the other team which is equally hungry to win a championship.

    It won't end in five.

Cleveland took them to OT both games on the road.

I still think the Warriors win hit it goes 6 or 7. Probably 6.

Do you honestly think Golden State would've come out like this if they had lost game 1?

If they had lost game 1 we would be talking about tonight's 20-point Warrior win.

They played 2 bad games. It happens. Look at the Spurs last year. If they play a couple more bad games in this series we can have this conversation.

The Memphis series does give hope that GS can turn it around. GS looked dead in the water after they dropped games 2 and 3.

At some point Cleveland has to pay for the two big injuries. Rarely do teams lose a player at the level of Love and Kyrie and can still win. And at some point all these minutes will catch up to LeBron. He's been great in the series, but both 4th quarters and overtimes he hasn't done a lot. Looks gassed at the end.

Yeah if you could win NBA titles just on effort and battling through injuries the Chicago Bulls would currently have a dynasty going on that would be challenging Michael Jordan's.

If the Cavs were playing another opponent from another year, just maybe (that said I'm not sure who, the team that wins the West every year tends to be a fairly good basketball team).

I wouldn't be so sure... Golden State has shot a higher FG % in both games so far, and yet we are looking at a 1-1 series going back to Cleveland. Cleveland managed to play both games to OT, even on the road.
