    The guy has coached playoff teams in 7 of his 10 full seasons. I think he can take Orlando from Point A to Point B. He has never proven he can take a team to the promised land. In other words, nothing new for the Orlando Magic.

    Just not a good long term hire. Team will probably improve over the next couple seasons, then they'll be looking for a coach again.

    If I had a guess...they might want a guy who's a old school fundamental's guy first...who's got a system second....then builds the chemistry around that....and if you can't fit into a team mentality he's going to kick you in the balls....he's a bulldog kind of guy and some love it and others will hate it. The Magic are throwing something at a wall and hope it sticks...not unlike what the Bucks did with Kidd

    He's a good coach. I'm surprised he quit -doesn't seem the type to. Trash team though. No doubt some of the idiots on this thread think popovich or carlisle could have put this team into the playoffs.

    Orlando still better then all the trash teams below them.
    Time to hopefully bring in Vogel as a potential suitor that can fix up the defense and hopefully lure a star player.
