Kyrie Irving for finals MVP +1800

Get on this now while you still can. This guy has had stretches this year (when healthy) where he has been absolutely unstoppable. 57 and 55 point games. Had a 2 game stretch where he went 12/13 from 3pt range. scored 90 pts in those 2 games, one was 57 against the Spurs. This guy can catch fire at any time and steal a game in Golden State early. Also take LeBron at +220 and you will make some money. $100 on each... I nailed K. Leonard last year at +5000.

STAX he can barely walk right now...you think he's got the juice to make a run at MVP?

Why take Kyrie at +1800 and LeBron at +220? Makes absolutely zero sense. Might as well take Cavs series as long as you can get better than +174 which is the case pretty much everywhere I think. Taking those 2 bets translates to "Kyrie or LeBron to win MVP" +174.

You're missing the point of my post. I realise you're betting more on Irving, but it still comes to this.

    100/220 on LeBron
    100/1800 on Irving

If that's the case, you might as well bet 116.84/233.68 on Cavs series price +200 and 83.16/1496.88 on Irving +1800.

You're risking the exact same sum (200) and you win 1730.56 (instead of 1700) if it's Irving and 150.52 (instead of 120) if it's LeBron.

You're cheating yourself out of money because part of your bet is in effect 16.84/303.12 on Irving and 100/220 on LeBron which reverts to Irving or LeBron 116.84/303.12 or 303.16 (so basically +174, instead of taking Cavs series price +200)...

Not that any of that will matter though because Golden State will win but I felt like making a math point here.

Yeah lol, it won't happen but I guess it can't hurt to eliminate the possibility. Anyway I guess the "simplified" point is it's dumb to take LBJ +220 if you think Kyrie has a chance.

Drummond green could realistically be mvp. He will be guarding lebron most times and will be relied on to score

I'd rather put something down on uncle Drew than Kyrie. Kyrie has been ineffective for nearly a month of playoffs. Uncle Drew gets buckets in sweats better than Kyrie in shorts.

Might not be a bad play. Him and Irving realistically have a "shot", but let's face it, LeBron or Curry are getting it. The Spurs last year were an exception as most of their all star caliber players were in the twilight of their careers but I can't recall any team with a massive superstar winning the finals and that superstar not getting MVP, at least recently.

I don't care much to get involved with this series more than with my Golden State -110 bet I made a couple weeks ago though. I think the only extra play I might make on this series is Cavs game 3 provided Golden State wins the first 2.

yeah dude has been hurt... he may or may not be healthy 100% for the finals. if he is then this is a no brainer bet... if hes not 100% then it make take 2 giant performances, heroic efforts if you will. he is capable of this too. and he hasnt been ineffective, hes had more than a few good playoff games, and those came at about 50% Kyrie. Dude is a superstar and is being overlooked somewhat. He can play with Curry, that Im certain of

Is that some kind of a hybrid between a Pistons C and GSW PF?

Anyways, what kind of a thread is this? You have a better chance winning an MTT than putting money on this straight up awful prop bet.

The 3rd biggest name in this series is Kyrie. LeBron and Curry are in the upper of upper echelons of NBA superstardom. Kyrie could put himself in that echelon with a memorable finals here. If, and its a big if, he is close to 100%, watch out, thats all Im saying. He's every bit as talented as any PG in the league. If he is hot, he has the ability to outshoot Curry in this series, even Curry is hot himself. Kyrie put up 55 and 57 in games this year. He can catch fire with the best of them. An "on fire" Kyrie is every bit as good as an "on fire" Curry

The league is very biased on James on being MVP since everyone seems to compare him to Michael Jordan as being one of the greatest.
It's most likely James MVP for the Cavs and Curry MVP for the Warriors.

Nice bet if it hits though.

There is a 100% chance that kyrie will not be healthy for the Finals. Rest will help, but talk about an offseason procedure says all you need to know about him being "healthy."

If Cavs win the title, the only way Lebron doesn't win MVP is if he gets kidnapped and doesn't play.

The Cavs won't win without LeBron playing huge and if the Cavs don't win, a Warrior gets MVP.

This. Good thought going for the odds play but lebron not winning mvp would mean he plays like garbage and kyrie carries the team. Lebron can play an average series for him (assuming that results in a cAvs W) and still easily win FMVP

Kyrie for MVP is amazing value -- I like that and the Cavs win in 4, 5, 6 or 7 props on 5dimes -- all of them juiced above +500 -- can't believe everyone is gambling on the Warriors -- gonna be a lot of sad losers on this forum in a week when LeBron and co. start to celebrate -- I'm already planning a victory trip with some of my river friends -- this is seriously the great week of ever
