For their careers, Lebron has averaged more rebounds and assists than Jordan.

    They are tied at blocks.

I just ran The Giants answers to my questions through the machine.
I can't believe it myself but, the Giants right.

Somehow LeBron is better than his airness.

Jj I PM'd the results to you so I'd be sure the readings were accurate.

    Never doubt Jay's machine, guys.

Although I never said Lebron was better than MJ. I just said the time is coming. And it is. Very, very soon.

It's an inadequate player measurement to use arbitrary numbers. You can switch it to 40 pts, 6 and 6.

LeBron is shooting 43% FG, 16% from 3 and is leading the playoffs in turnovers per game. It's been a great team effort.

    LeBron James .342

You are including years where Jordan was 39 and 40. It's only fair to throw out the older years since it skews the averages.

There were also years where Lebron was a teenager playing against men.

Trevor Ariza entered the league as a teenager.
    LeBron entered as a MAN.

LeBron made Trevor look like a teenager in high school!

LeBron is 30. If you compare LeBron to Bird to their seasons when they were both 30, Bird has more points, rebounds and assists.

Once again sports knowledge 101 for my fellow Raiders fan. Speaking of arbitrary stats how about arbitrary circumstances? You are making too general of a comparison stats wise to a #2 spot and #3 with completely different roles. MJ most his career was the go to guy and not much on his team and had had to provide the scoring in general with main responsibilities being playmaker and later on playing defense and more of a facilitator at times. Bron more the all sound player who plays any spot on floor when needed and most certainly a more team oriented facilitator type leader.

It's Apple's and oranges but like in Ratzz dumb ass thread a few months ago praising Bron for passing Kobe is assists I tried pointing out the obvious transparency and situation similar to this but unfortunately I think it went right over the poor over biased lads head.

Good points. It is tough to compare player's stats because of position. LeBron plays point forward which leads to inflated stats. He gets assists on the offensive end and rebounds on the defensive side.

LeBron plays more like Magic than Jordan. LeBron played a little at center today. Magic once stepped in at center for an injured Jabaar. He was a 20 year old rookie and scored 42 pts, 15 rebounds and 7 assists to win the NBA championship.

Less schemes and switching in 80's overall. You can also probably attribute fact the league was in its infancy when Magic/Bird started far as popularity goes. Magic and Bird were never great defenders but pushed the tempo heavily much like a Westbrook or Harden in today's gm. Everyone followed suit and obviously the league didn't complain or making any rule changes to a gm raking in more $ and excitement than ever.

Back to Raiders fan making Bron /MJ comparison on rebounding. If you wanna discredit MJ's last couple years due to age then fair enough but you gotta wipe those stats then as well. Right now Bron/Mj are neck/neck in rebounds with MJ's total career stats. He played about 12 seasons at his "peak" in a Bulls uni which is close to where Bron is now. And if you wanna discredit the Wizards years Bron is ahead. Don't know what exactly your point was in that debate but it's pretty much flushed

Defensive rule changes are the primary reasons the scores back then were disproportionate.

Just my opinion and I'm a HUGE Magic fan that was my all time guy. Certainly respect Jordan , Bird and all the greats. But overall Bron no doubt has more responsibility , more to carry overall in his career , and a better all around more versatile gm than of those guys.

And let's not forget he's playing in this short sighted ,kunty , generation who loves comparison too much, wants instant gratification, and 90% of them are far to quick in posting their moronic thoughts and takes in social media world without knowing the gm or just being a fickle fan with hate to spew. Older guys never had to deal with social media tards!

    Kobetard ALERT.

lol... K-Tards are the most ridiculous, but greets bang for the buck (laughs dept.)

    Lebron crushes Kobe.

    1) Already ahead in Assists (and Kobe is a GUARD, Lebron Forward)

    2) will pas him Rebounds in 3 years.

    3) will pass him Points in 4 yrs.

    4) would have won 5-6 STRAIGHT RINGS with Shaq as his Center.

    5) LeBron has NO BEEF issues with teammates. ZERO. Makes everybody better.
wants them to improve. Become stars in their own right.

    6) Shaq was great for 3 solid seasons after Kobe forced him out.

Kobe holds guys back, wants ALL the credit.

I think we are forgetting lebron is playing against the east which is basically him playing in the WNBA. The dumbass is so superior to his opponent and decides to shoot jump shots which he is terrible At. He needs to learn he isn't Jordan or Kobe. I will agree he is without a doubt the best overall player in the NBA but he is also the biggest pansy. I mean how often do you see Players get helped off court because of leg cramps? Like wtf..

    this is a good post...

Guys... LeBron is only 30. Hes got 6-8 years left. He's made 5 straight finals... will have 2 or 3 rings... and he's gonna get to at least 5 more finals before he retires. Hes gonna match or pass Jordan in every catagory imaginable. When LeBron retires he will be considered better than Jordan by the majority of people.

Its pointless to compare Jordan and LeBron's stats. LeBron is like Magic Johnson but scores 8 more a game and plays better defense.

Let's give lebron benefit of the doubt he's 11-12 in finals we won't count his first one since his team sucked. So when he had to join a team with 2 super stars he still has a losing record.. Smh

Man you just don't see those kinda passes anymore. And how about James worthy? We don't talk about him much because of Kareem and magic but he was amazing. People think MJ changed the game but it was worthy before him.
