Best way to hedge a Golden State future

I've got $100 on the Warriors at +120 to win the west.

Seems like it has a very good chance to cash, but should I hedge a little on rockets?

I was thinking maybe putting 50$ at +600 for the Rockets or something like that? Thoughts?

If it's at +600, you should put like $20 or less on it. That way, you just sit back and enjoy a $100 profit with a safety net of $20 profit.

I would not hedge at all with the odds and amount your original play is for

It depends what your average bet/unit is. (what you feel comfortable losing)

If you bet $100 a game I would not hedge.

If you are a small $10, $20 betting, I would put about $20 on them and go for the $100 profit with that safety net of $20 like the above guy said.

I would not hedge at all with Rockets, this is a dream matchup for Warriors vs. a team that plays no defense. Maybe hedge by sprinkling something on both Cavs and Hawks to win championship.

Why would you give up almost 50% of your profit on a play that won't lose?

At worst put like 10 bucks on it if you're feeling uncomfortable but there's zero reason to hedge here.

He has them to win the West.

Also putting any amount of money on the Hawks to win the NBA championship is literally equivalent to lighting that money on fire. Literally.

I mean anything can happen and I don't want to seem cocky but I really think GS wins this series.

and so does Vegas, hence the line. If $100 isn't a TON of money, let it ride.

I thinks Cavs will win, but I do think Hawks will put up more of a fight than Rockets will

Warriors will have no answer for Howard. Could be interesting to see how this series goes.

But Rockets won;t be able to slow Warriors fast break. Can't beat a team like Golden State without playing at least SOME defense.

I'd say both win in 5. Maybe Hawks get game 5 at home and push it to 6. Maybe.

Bogut can do a job against Howard and Klay can at least try to limit Harden a bit...

Rockets will put Ariza on Curry a lot most likely. That means Terry or Prigioni has to guard Harrison Barnes. He can actually exploit that type of a matchup unlike Matt Barnes and take the smaller guy into the post.

if he's a youngster and $100 is like $1,000 to you - then it's reasonable to think about hedging.

agree with you - but Klay on Harden .... hmm, give me Harden getting to the line all game if that's the case.
