A lot of ex coaches, players and so called sports journalists questioned whether or not Kidd as ready to become a coach so soon after his playing career ended...Then there was "drink gate"..LOL...a lot of folks thought he was in over his head....but here are the facts...this fool has now led two different teams to the playoffs in his first two coaching jobs...and is challenging for a second round birth against a team that should have swept them.....!!! LOL...

Rip Hamilton just made a great point about the Hawks...nobody had them on the depth charts at the beginning of the season...no film..no preparation...thats why they won so many games...But get them on film for a 7 game series with situational prep and analysis for each player..and a good coach can exploit them for any weakness he may find...Kidd should have been coach of the year...and Lionel Hollins should never have been fired by Memphis....Budenholzer is being out coached..and the Hawks are being exposed...

Kidd is as smart a coach as he was a point guard...and this is the reason Carlyle had no choice but to let Kidd run the team when he realized just who he was dealing with when Kidd ran the point that year..
