Is Lebron the best player ever, or does he just play for stacked teams?

From his Miami days to now, it seems like every team he plays for is completely stacked. I understand it is mostly because most players want to play with him so all the best free agents go his way, but just look at the current Cavs roster and tell me it isn't ridiculous.

I don't know how they stay within the cap? How does that shit work?? Is everyone except Lebron and Love playing for peanuts???

    Lebron James
    Kevin Love
    Kyrie Irving
    JR Smith
    Iman Shumpert
    Kendrick Perkins
    Tristan Thompson
    Timofey Mozgov
    Shawn Marion
    Mike Miller
    James Jones

Pretty much every player on the team except that annoying little white point guard they have are bonafide starters on any other team. Then there is/was the possibility of Ray Allen swinging by.

    This team is stacked?

If LeBron goes down this is hardly even a .500 team in the fukking Eastern Conference. This team is anything but stacked. They have a few nice pieces and role players but it all really depends on one player.

How many playoff games has their starting lineup played outside of LeBron? Almost none.

And Irving has a max contract so he's hardly playing for peanuts.

Yeah nothing stacked about this squad and his previous Cavs teams that rode his back had even less talent. Russell, Magic, Bird , MJ wherever you want go all the greats had other good/great players in the cast.

look at Miami with him gone.

look at what happened to the Cavs when he left..

Miami went to the Finals 4 yrs in a row..
and the Cavs missed the playoffs 4 yrs in a row,

the record for the largest drop-off in wins was the Cavs with Lebron and without Lebron

    CLEVELAND (61-21) 2009-10
    CLEVELAND (19-63) 2010-11

that is a difference of 42 WINS. (NBA Record)
    that speaks for itself

    Lebron.

And, when he was out, they lost every game except one.

He's not even in my top 10 and maybe not 15 yet. He will probably end up in the top 10 by the time his career ends but he's not there yet.

Lebron isn't even close to best ever.
But he's one of the best in recent years for sure.

The funny thing is this roster would struggle to even make the playoffs in the West.

LeBron took cavs to the finals that team was far from stacked.
