    Knicks cut Amar'e Stoudemire.

    Clips or Mavs.

I can't see him fitting in with the Mavs. They're just throwing players at the problem at this point.

I'd like to see him go back with the Suns. It's his style of play.

    Injuries.
Never worked out in NYC with Melo.
True fact, Knicks had a better record with Stats out of the lineup than with Melo.
He was a part of the 12-13 team that had some success, but only played in less than 30 games.

I'll defend him a bit, he always gives 100 percent effort.

Suns or Clipps seem like realistic options assuming they can afford him financially.

    He's doing the right things.
Cutting all the dead wood, breaking it down and rebuilding.
They got a couple of pieces I like.

Yes, Calderon was both a joke and a mistake.
I like PG Galloway, I like Barry Larkin's son.
I love Jason Smith. kid doesn't back down, and he's got a nice shooters touch, he's going to be a real good one.

Because only 5 owners at most have a clue, agreed.

The only thing A'mare gave you was effort.

Don't see how this is just "throwing players at the problem".

The problem since Brandan Wright was traded has been needing a backup big so you don't have to play scrubs/inexperienced players like Greg Smith or Dwight Powell. Amare may not be the guy he was 5 years ago but I'd say it's an upgrade.

Now it's not like this move alone solves all their recent shitty play but I like the addition and think it makes them better for sure.

I think they should've done this earlier, he's like a dead player. Omer Asik take 10 and more ribaunds every game and what Amar'e do?

Because he's not the right piece. For one, they're already playing like a tired team and we're only at the All Star break. Stoudemire is not giving them any real minutes to make a difference with that problem.

I said this at the beginning of the year when they overpaid for Chandler Parsons. They left themselves without a solid bench and little room to maneuver.

You're making zero sense. You're saying making a significant upgrade on the bench where you have a glaring hole in the frontcourt isn't the solution to solving the problem that your bench is thin?

Who did you want them to sign instead? He was by far the best thing left and regardless of how much he has declined he fills a need on that team. Don't forget it's also not fhe same motivation playing for a 55 win team and a 20 win team.
