Do you think he's concerned one bit with any of those people "punking" him? This is funny.

I'm not sure if it's "punking" If Lebron gives zero fuks about any of those people.

Still hard to believe they won't "contend" when he comes back. He takes off, lets all the other teams in that tough east beat up on eachother and he coasts to the finals...But then Varejao is out for season and now there is maybe no way they win and Lebron just saving his body.
They might come out of the East. I'm just trying to figure out what kind of strategy he was employing by teaming up with two "stars" who have never played a lick of D in their lives.

"Saving his body" is the most B.S. excuse I've ever heard. This is unprecedented and no one is talking about it. There's a huge difference between sitting out a few games here and there and doing what James is doing. Again, he said he'd play if it were the playoffs.

The Lebron hate still Alive n well I see. Personally I cant stand any haters. But in reply to this ridiculous thread. This is the FIRST time in the man,or I should say the IRONMANS,career he missed ANY extended time and you are all over him? Its almost too absurd to take serious. All they need is to secure 1 of 8spots so to get healthy then make a strong run is a nobrainer. What does watching a football game have to do with anything? He could watch it if he was in a full body cast in a wheelchair. The guy is the best player in the world and there isnt a close 2end. Who knows this? People who really know the NBA. He has this collection of 1 on 1 career losers sitting at 15 and 10 or something like that but with him out they are 1and 8. I have a million other reasons but ill just rest on that. Stop being jealous of another mans weath and talent it makes you look like a weezle

Saving his body was a joke...I believe the team hasn't played how he wanted and wasn't responding well to what he's trying to push...He punishes them and can do so for as long as he wants, because he makes the calls out there. Kyrie and Love don't know about winning, have never carried a team, have never played with a player that is worth a damn, they've always been "the man" on their team.

Maybe Lebron is teaching them a lesson, that team ball and not individual or selfish ball is the way to go. Maybe he's giving them time to play together, so they get to know each other. Lebron can carry a shit squad to the playoffs, he's just sitting to show these "scrubs" that they best start listening to him if they really want to win, otherwise those 2 may get shipped out and bring in some people that want to win and play team ball.

Jordan played all 82 games in 9 different seasons. Some were meaningless games. He said the fans deserved it and his competitiveness wouldn't allow him to sit.

Magic Johnson played all 82 in 5 seasons and so did Jabbar. It seems that the greats are the only ones playing all 82 just doing a quick glance at some of the players.

He decided to sit against the best teams in the league so he can say how important he is when Cle plays the bad teams. He sat against GS, Hou, Atl and Dallas.

Lebron has played 8500 more minutes than Jordan has thru age 30....Yes that comes out to 175 more games on his body thru age 30.

Alot of wear and tear on his body...Not saying Jordan didn't have that, since he played alot, but Lebron took a beating pretty much every game through his first stint with cleveland...Plays a little "softer" now and with Miami.

*And thats counting Jordans whole year when he was 30, That's only counting 29 games so far this year for him. SO that number will be around 10,000 more minutes by age 30. That's alot, in my opinion.

But LeBron entered the league at 19 and Jordan 21. Jordan played all 82 games at the ages of 32,33,34 including all playoff games. Then at 39 when he went to Was.

To call someone a bum for making it to the finals 5 times... winner or loser... is stupid. Only Lebron and Shaq have lead a team to the finals, single handed, in the last 25 years, and both were swept. u dont discredit them for losing, its hard to make it.

As for the 82 games comment. Jordan was 6'6" 190 most of his career, and the game was slower in the 90's. Lebron is 250+ 6'8" most of his career, and moves like a guard. Science tells u a body built like lebrons vs. mj's breaks down quicker with equal treatment.

You are making an impossible assessment based purely on competitive NBA games, no input on practice/non compet games/training

That's why Jordan was the best. 72-10 he brought it every single night and LeBum takes a vacation midseason while his team is getting destroyed on a west coast road trip.

Not hatin on LBJ he has done extremely well for himself from a tough start in life. He is a father and provider to his children something he never had, and does a lot for kids in Akron which is comendable. He is just not super competitive and acts like a teenage drama queen a little to often.

    Irving/Love = 7/29 fgs, 18pts, 10 reb, 6ast,
    Lebron = 11/18, 33pts, 7reb, 5ast

Probably realized what he got himself into and like the martian said, enjoyed his time cheering on Ohio State, it was probably in the contract if came back to cleveland, although he probably could of worked that in if he stayed in Miami. silly goose.
