Just locked in some OKC futures.

    +1000 to win it all.

    +525 to win the West.

    $50 on each bet.

they had injuries but they were not built to win it all. Who wins it all when over half of your rotation are young inexperienced midseason pickups?

No, we're running our mouths because of this:

Once again, I think they'll have a good chance to win the division. And even if they don't, they're obviously making the playoffs regardless. This thread is about them making a run to the Finals. Stop getting hung up on regular season standings.

You: Not saying Thunder win 75% of remaining games
You: Think they'll be right in the mix to win division
You: We all agree that will take around 55 wins or so

Me: That would take winning 76.6% of remaining games. Tough sledding in this year's West.

It's not obvious they make the playoffs, 50-50 @ best. Could they? Sure, plenty of talent. But another injury could just as easily kill their season. Clear enough?

Not an OKC hater, just saying it's not a foregone conclusion they make the playoffs much less win the title. They started in a hole, it's a long season. Too many things can go wrong. Ask Bulls fans. Do I think they get in? Probably. Would I bet my house on it? No.

And so do you. Foot injuries tend to reoccur, shouldn't be a surprise it's been an issue with Durant. I just stated the obvious. Well, obvious to most of us.

The Durant foot injury was pretty likely to reoccur given what we knew in November

To go through 67 win San Antonio, 73 win GSW, and Lebron would be a historic post-season run.

This is the one year I had the lowest expectations, mainly bc of how OKC played in the regular season. They did not bring this intensity during the regular season. In the past they did and fizzled or in the playoffs or had injuries.

Game 4 is huge. If they lose then the Warriors are right back in the driver's seat.

I bet we see a hell of a game. Durant will need to be able to close it I bet.

If they win it all, it has to be the greatest path to win a championship in NBA history, maybe even sports history?

OKC finally figured it out because they got some actual big men who can play and a decent wing. I still can't believe how long OKC went with Perkins and Sefelosha.

It's all coming together but still a lot of work to be done.

It's only 2-1 and GSW are a historically good team. OKC has to win game 4. If the Warriors win the ball is back in their court. Best two of three with two at home.

I do feel like they're finally playing like a "team" though. They look so much better with he spacing and ball movement.

It caused problems in the regular season too but OKC just pissed down their leg and couldn't finish.

People are starting to make excuses for the Warriors but having Curry guard Westbrook is wearing him out.

OKC's length is causing several of the Warriors problems and the Thunder don't have to work as hard to get buckets.

this thread is comical to browse because he did say barring another injury which indeed killed them last year and said they finally benched perkins and now had proper rim protection with adams, etc

only thing he didn't say was they should change head coach to help propel them to another playoff level

only thing that changed was the main bench role players contributing to the playoff run, made some changes that have turned out great in the playoffs. waiters even doing his part

    impressive
