Raptors +4 in NJ Sunday Evening

Can Toronto's defense stop Kidd Carter combo? Is this the game they steal in NJ or are they just not up for the task. I'm afraid I'm more full of questions than answers. Would appreciate thoughts on this matchup . . .

i can see another double digit win for the nets here. toronto is poorly coached (in my opinion...who knows how the hell mitchell won coach of the year), with no playoff experience. the nets have been there, done that, and downright play harder...

I think the Raptors were fooled quite a bit by the Kidd so called injury factor. I'm thinking they changed there game plan when they found out he had that bruised knee, and were burnt by that.

I'm taking a shot with Toronto ML in this game

I agree with you bigboydan. I'm only taking them to cover though. I really hope they win though. Good luck with the ml play.

That's true when you think of that way. I was part down on him for not seemingly having had them ready for that first NJ game. I've gone to a few games in Toronto and I've always drawn the losses where they've come out flat, which is part players' responsibility no doubt but also part coach's. I just had him pegged as a decent HC, but one that lacked a little in motivating mid-game conceptual play changes. Adaptation-style shifts etc . . . they're doing this to us so we have to do such and such to adapt. I don't know, it's probably an inaccurate appraisal because my attendance sample is too small. I'll tell you one thing though is I am really glad for him that he won it!

I'm thinking very much about making a Raptors first half play.
