it doesn't even matter if Rose plays anymore

Butler is the real stud on the team

and then they got Gibson, Noah, the little white guy with the glasses

    more like Rose who?

Small sample, but yeah. Dunleavy's had a real good year so far. Maybe he's pushed by McDermott, who's not getting much PT yet. Pau was awesome last night. He's now got 6 double doubles in 8 games.

    look how he turned out

maybe Derrick Rose needs to whoop someone's ass in a night club in Vegas?

I think Rose is actually developing a chip on his shoulder and one of these days will explode akin to what happened in the seasons after Nick Anderson's foolish wake-a-sleeping-giant remark to another Chicago player ...

Bulls worst bench on recent years and it will hurt them really bad down the stretch

Say what? It's just the opposite. Bulls are deeper than ever. They used to actually have to play Nazr Mohammed. Now he's on the bench as the (is 13 or 14 players?) and never plays. Snell is better than last year but is playing less (none when at full health) because the team is deeper. I guess you're saying that Aaron Brooks is not as good as D.J. Augustin (who didn't even start last season with the Bulls)? I really don't agree. Otherwise, I can't imagine what you're talking about? Let's see, Bulls lost the likes of Jimmer Fredette, Mike James, Cartier Martin, Erik Murphy and Marquis Teague. Before that, guys like Vladimir Radmanovic and Malcolm Thomas.

Bulls bench is not just better than last season, but way better. I'm assuming you're downgrading rookies McDermott and Mirotic, who we don't know what they're capable of, but in limited action at times we can see it's plenty, and they will only get better.

Bulls have the best and deepest bench they've had in years and probably the best in the league. That's how they won games even with Rose, Noah, Butler and Gibson all missing games already. That's 4/5 of the starting lineup missing games and yet 7-2.

10 deep, although only 2 played DD minutes, plus 6 seconds from Moore.

But if you're asking about how much time the bench played (68 minutes total), that's just Thibs, and that's nothing new, that's always been the case. Actually Butler playing only 39 minutes is restraint. He used to regularly play the full 48. In terms of talent and ability and productive time, this is the best Bulls bench I can remember. The best. So your claim is really way off. Just look at the dredge that was playing last year and in prior years. It's not even close. Guys like Snell and Mohammed are still on the bench, but much further back in the "rotation", so what does that tell you?

Thibs IS showing he will play the starters MORE, already this early in the season. He has zero trust in his bench guys.

so Mohammed, Moore and Snell will be starting come Feb when everyone is injured

    Mirotic and McDermott are shit

You obviously haven't watched the Bulls in past seasons. How do you figure he's playing starters more? Noah 30 mpg (vs. 35-36 last 2 season), Rose only 28 (granted njuries a factor). Butler the same as last year. Dunleavy slightly lower than last year. Gasol more than Boozer, but that's because, well, it's Carols Boozer. So nothing backs up your claims. Sorry.

You can have your opinion on Mirotic and McDermott, and I'll gladly disagree. You can have Nazr Mohammed and Jimmer Fredette instead. I'll take McDermott and Mirotic. Not sure who you think the Bulls are missing from the bench of the last couple seasons. Got some names?

2012 Bulls Bench was arguably the best in the NBA

    Gibson
    Korver
    Asik
    Watson
    Brewer

based on a game Thibs really wanted to win, in Thurs game Thibs is basically confident in 7 players for meaningful mins

Only reason they played so much was because of Boozer and Hamilton starting. And Gibson is WAY better now.

    I'll take:
    Gibson 2014 > Gibson 2011
    Hinrich > Brewer
    Brooks > Watson
McDermott = Korver (McDermott will eventually be better than Korver)
Asik > Mirotic (and same, Mirotic will be better, different player too)

Over that group. That group might have been the best bench. And the current group is the best bench now.

Rose and Gasol OUT. Bulls beat Clippers in LA by 16.

Butler is an all-star. Bulls mgmt so dumb for not extending him on easy terms, maybe 4/50. Now he's going to be offered like 4/70.

Or sign of a coach who can't look at the bigger picture and will have 1/3 of his roster injured in game 3 of the playoffs.

Not saying he isn't a good coach outside of that though. Tremendous defensive coach.

How do you figure? Every single starter has taken a game(s) off already (except Dunleavy, but add Gibson). If anyone is iffy, they sit. Noah has stuck to his minutes restriction.

Fair enough, to be honest I haven't paid much attention to the Bulls managing guys' minutes this year. I was just referring to the fact that playing hard every night isn't necessarily a good thing in the long run.
