Pistons +11 VS. Bulls on Monday...

Seems way to high to me. Rose most likely out. Pistons should be able to hang. Thinking of making Pistons a top play. Any of you take a look at this game yet?

Pistons and top play dont go together. Good luck if you play it. Probably gonna stay away.

Only play I see that I like is the Pelicans.

Coach like I suggested Bulls and Lakers should swap Rose AND Kobe. Not that out of the question. Season just started and Rose is already missing games. Kobe can be his ball dominant self on Chicago and have an outside shot at a chip. I'm sure Pau wouldn't like it but oh well. They made it work before they can make it work again

Pistons are 0-6 ATS I guess they have to cover one day. I took them the first day of the season +7 against Denver (who have proven since to be one of the worst teams in the league as I thought), they were covering for 47 minutes then blew it at the end. They're just a piece of trash team. Have zero trust in them.

That said 11 points is a lot to lay for this Chicago team. Good luck...

Pistons and top play don't go together. Never ever trust this trash team. They are a bunch of heartless and overvalued and selfish ball hogs.

Jimmy butler is much more valuable than kobe at this point.

I like it pappy!! Pistons usually perform well as double digit dogs. The line is inflated cus they havent covered a game yet this year. I see this dropping to 10 by gametime pappy.

lol delusional. if the bulls get kobe for rose they are instant faves to win the NBA championship. nobody would stop them.

butler is a nice player but he's pretty raw offensively and comparing him to kobe bryant is just a complete joke. but people don't appreciate kobe's game on this site so i'm not surprised. all they see is the high FG attempts and label him selfish and team cancer. they don't understand the game.

I don't think kobe fits the Bulls system in the least bit. I'm a life long bulls fan and a HUGE fan of kobe. He just isn't a fit in that offense or that defense. He would no doubt butt heads with Thib and at this stage in his career I don't think he wants to play the type of defense Thib expects.
If rose's luck can change, this team in Chicago is special. Watching rose and Jimmy play together the other day was incredible.

    Ok fair enough.

I disagree though, think clippers was spot on when he said Bryant's offense and ability to create his own shot would take this Bulls team to the next level. I'm not saying Rose can't do these things to some extent but if you're in the win-now mentality, Bryant is your guy.

Doubt he would clash with Thibs. He has always been from everything you read (funnily enough even in that ridiculous article by Abbott recently) one of the hardest working players in the league. Now the general consensus is that he's taken a step back defensively but he's not become awful either and it's not like the Bulls even need much defense from him. Also there's no one on this Bulls team he would be taking shots away from (ala Dwight) so I doubt anyone would complain about that either. In my eyes it would be the perfect fit for a 1-2 year window obviously, and barring injury would guarantee at least 1 championship in the next 2 years. Long term is a different story.

    Great points.
Wish more people on this site could have more educated conversations without getting butt hurt when someone disagrees.
I love kobe and respect his game a ton. He would no doubt help the bulls offensively. I just don't think the bulls are an iso-offense type of team and I would hate to see that come into chicago because in the end, one scorer does not win a championship.

Yeah the Bulls are at their best offensively when they move the ball but let's face it, down the stretch of games you need a guy who can iso and make tough shots and create offense. Rose can do that to some extent but he's not yet a proven playoff performer and we don't really know if we'll ever see 2011 Rose again. Kobe is the guy you want in that role. And it's not like Kobe can't pass either, he's averaged like 5-6 assists most years in his career.

When you look at last year's series they were right there down the stretch of every game except game 4. They just couldn't buy a bucket in the last few minutes of games. When your best offensive option down the stretch of games is a guy like Nate Robinson or DJ Augustin you have a problem. Can't win like that.

I think that's a lot for the bulls to cover. But think bulls strengths match pistons weaknesses well and could potentially be a beat down.

All this Kobe trade for Rose "Fantasy Island" talk and analysis is about as useful as SBR betting points.

I don`t know what money/years Rose has left, but with his fragilty, why would anyone take a chance on him?
Kobe is +ev for the Lakers even if they win 15 games. They will cover his contract $ easy. Rose not so much.

We're just having a discussion. Not everything has to be "useful". I don't think anyone has said they actually think any kind of trade like that would happen.

This thread is not the first time this exact trade scenario has been brought up.
Didn`t comment the first time. Felt I had something to say.

I don't understand that though. Why go into a thread and tell people that what they're talking about is useless?

Like I said no-one here is talking about whether this trade will happen or not the discussion is just about how it would work out if it happened. If that discussion doesn't seem interesting to you shouldn't you just ignore it?

Not bashing you or anything I just find it really weird. I mean who knows maybe I've done it in the past too but doesn't make sense to me.
