World Series reminds me of last years NBA finals

Everyone was banking on Miami to run away with it, people kept making huge wagers on Miami to catch up in the series....we all know how that ended.

This is a similar situation. The Royals have been (were) on a crazy run but at the end of the day SF is just a much better team with more experience and better hitting. Don't fool yourself, the Royals made a good run but SF is too much for them to handle, Giants have quietly been going about their business

I see your point but awful analogy

Who was banking on KC to "run away with it"?

Although was game 1 that still to me is the best all time coaching move of all time by Pop and his staff. They knew leBron had cramped up in some games a few years ago and they found out it was cause of heat. I said it in the Summer Pop had those guys practicing in hot gyms for weeks. Part of how they just balled through the finals when they got AC was like heaven for em. Miami didnt stand a chance against pop last year.

Look around in these forums, seems like the majority were on KC last night and now everyone thinks they are due to win tonight. Royals are under the gun and can't handle the pressure of being behind. All I'm saying is I think a lot of people are overvaluing the Royals as people did with Miami

But miami was not a wild card

Everyone expected miami to be in the finals

Few expected KC to make the WS
