    Safest Pick for Tonight

    Nuggets -3.5/ML vs Lakers

The Lakers list Monday's probable starters as Steve Nash, Wesley Johnson, Carlos Boozer, Jordan Hill and Bryant. Nick Young (thumb), Ryan Kelly (hamstring) and Xavier Henry (back, knee) won't play.

With a 19-man training-camp roster, Scott will have more players available than he'll be able to use -- even with the injuries. The starters aren't likely to get significant minutes against the Nuggets.

The game should also mean the debuts of rookies Julius Randle and Jordan Clarkson. In practices, both played with the team's second unit with Randle backing up Boozer at power forward and Clarkson behind Bryant at shooting guard.

Denver has a lot of talent of coming back from injuries.

According to the Denver Post‘s Chris Dempsey, none of the players recovering from surgery — Danilo Gallinari, JaVale McGee, Nate Robinson, and J.J. Hickson — will play tonight. But this will be our first look at some new faces, including first round draft picks Gary Harris and Jusuf Nurkic, as well as a chance to see Arron Afflalo on the court in a Nuggets jersey for the first time since his offseason return to the franchise. It’s also Kenneth Faried’s first game since he struck gold with Team USA and signed a contract extension that made him the franchise’s $60 million man.

Idk maybe not safest anymore. I already placed my bets though.
