Pelicans the best roster in NBA 1-6?

Health is obviously a huge factor, but if they're all 100% healthy who is more impressive 1-6?

    Jrue Holiday
    Eric Gordon
    Tyreke Evans
    Ryan Anderson
    Anthony Davis
    Omer Asik

Asik/Davis is going to be a nightmare defensive combination for opponents. Holiday, Gordon, and Tyreke are all All-Star caliber players when healthy. Ryan Anderson is probably the best stretch 4 we've seen since Dirk. Davis is a playoff run away from being a legitimate MVP candidate. Not sure if there was ever a moment last season when they were all healthy at once, so realistically that will continue to be a problem, but health issues aside, who is better?

Possibly Cleveland due to their star power but they still have holes in their starting 5 (SG and C). Either way they should be an exciting group to watch next season; nice balance of defense, firepower, and versatility.

You are completely deluded about their backcourt; in no way these are top-20 guards in these league. They might make the playoffs but should not be able to get past round 1 and they will not get a homecourt advantage.

lol it's a question bud I'm not saying they're the best team in the league or going to win championships, just that talent-wise they are stacked 1-6...and Jrue Holiday is a top 20 guard (easily), he was great in Phili and was playing as one of the best PGs in the league last year before his injury and vigilant return. Also everyone seems to only think of injuries and difficulties fitting into offenses when they think of Tyreke, but overlook his unique talent and versatility. As a starter last year, he averaged about 20 pts, 5 reb, 6 ast. 20 guards better than that please?

Eric Gordon maybe not but he has been plagued by injuries. At his best he is a very potent offensive weapon that should fit in nicely.

Maybe though Gordon may not have much left he is slow and cannot jump as of last year unless he regains his athleticism.

Cleveland does not have a whole at C they have Varejeao he is a top 5 center

Talented roster, but they are mainly all losers. What has Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans or Jrue Holiday ever done. They've always put up good numbers on bad teams. Anthony Davis is the only real great player on that team.

No way this is the best top 6 players combination of any team. Maybe you could argue that it is a well rounded six, but they are not nearly as good as you make them out to be. Gordon is washed up due to injuries, has been nothing more than an inefficient scorer for the last 2 seasons, Tyreke is an undersized SF who can't shoot to save his life and Jrue is not even a top 10 player at his position. Only above average player here is Davis, but they will need a monster season from him to have a shot at making the playoffs in the stacked West.

Off the top of my head, Clippers, Spurs, Cavs, Bulls have much better 1-6s than the Pelicans and they are not the only ones.
