    The Cavs get Love.

    A deal is in place....

The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached an agreement in principle to trade Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers for No. 1 overall pick Andrew Wiggins, 2013 No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett and a protected 2015 first-round draft pick, according to media reports.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported Monday that the Cavs and Timberwolves have a "handshake agreement" for a Love trade. Yahoo! Sports reported on Thursday that Love has committed to to opt out of his contract in 2015 and re-sign with Cleveland next summer five years and $120 million-plus.

The trade cannot be finalized until Aug. 23.

I hope Lebron leaves after a year or two and Love is stuck on Cleveland

Where he will never make the playoffs by himself

    Just like on Minnesota

    Very poor deal by Cleveland

Wiggins and Bennett AND a draft pick is too much for Kevin Love.

    Good job Minnesota

Now you only need a starting point guard who can take a jump shot

It'll be interesting to see if Anthony Bennett ever develops.

If he does, this should be a good trade for both teams.

Great haul for the Wolves, if LeBron stayed in Miami they would have had to take much less in return for Love.

I think they make Finals easy. Question is can they beat spurs again. Spurs peaked at finals this year. I think if all Irving, Love and James stay healthy they can do it. It will take a breakout season by Irving though

It's Lebron' show in Cleveland. He's running the team. Lebron signed a 1yr + 1 yr player option deal just to put pressure on the team to make the moves they're making now. When Lebron signed with the Cavs local media asked if the Cavs are championship contenders, Lebron said absolutely not, we have a ways to go with this roster. In the same interview Lebron stated he wants to win championships and compete for rings "every year". To me that was a message to trade Wiggins. Cavs are doing everything to keep Lebron happy and make sure he doesn't leave after next season. Mike Miller, Ray Allen, Kevin Love etc.

I think the Cavs got the East now.

As good as Cavs look on paper...they have several problems which will have to be addressed by the end of this season one way or another...and that is their defense which is non existent...and the headcases that are Kyrie, Waiters and Love....James got lucky with Miami...Wade's a Capricorn like him..and Bosh is easy going...you will never see another trio of stars jell the way those guys did in such a short period of time...the number 1 or 2 guard in the league stepping aside for a guy with no ring and a power forward willing to make himself look foolish at center for 4 years just to get a ring....the biggest problem they had was actually being too nice to each other and not dominating when they should...

Irving and Waiters both came to near blows last year over who got to shoot the most...they both ignored Mike Brown who wanted them to play defense...Love threw several teammates under the bus in public in front of the media after losses...Talent won't be the issue...it will be character that determines how far this team goes...

Only thing about this Cavs team is depth just like the heat. Spurs showed us all this finals that it is all about depth.
