Could Lebron go to the Mavs?

Cuban was praying for the Spurs to win so Timmy and Pop would ride off in the sunset together!

If they stay, would Lebron go over to the Mavs? They are the only Team to stretch SA to 7 games. Lebron has never played for a quality coach, Carlisle is the most underrated coach in the NBA.

Lebron, Dirk, and Monta Ellis would be great together. Plus you have Dejuan Blair, Devin Harris, Vince Carter, Jose Calderon, and Shawn Marion -- San Antonio 2.0. After winning the Championship, the Mavs tanked the payroll in order to try and get Dwight Howard, thank God that never happened. Cuban had no idea Carslisle would keep them in the hunt.

I don't like Lebron very much, but it could be a very good match!

How the hell do you think they can afford Lebron and all those players?? Financially this makes zero sense. There's a salary cap in the nba.

They were making room for Dwight Howard or Deron Williams, glad that did not pan out.
I think Cuban and Donnie Nelson could make it happen if they want to.

I am not saying it will happen, but with Cuban you never can tell.

Dallas would be a great option, but they would have to get rid of Shawn Marion. Otherwise, they'll pay a huge luxury tax.

Too much competition in the west.

    Get a clue...

Dirk has already said he would take a pay cut... Monta doesn't have a big contract at all.

However, I have a hard time seeing Bron and Dirk teaming up considering the bad blood between Miami and Dallas. That said, when Dirk cracked the top 10 scoring list LeBron congratulated him and said he was one of his "favorite players"... So who knows, maybe the hatchet is buried. Still would be surprised.

    It would be awesome

Another problem... Dallas is already one of the oldest teams in the league. After watching what happened to his current team I would think Lebron would be alittle cautious about joining another situation like that...especially one out west.
