The Warriors have been hot, but they are still allowing way too many points to be this much of a favorite, so take the points with a better Utah team.
Now the Warriors have made a serious playoff push in recent weeks, but this line seems artificially inflated to us.
Golden State is 13-4 against the spread in their last 17 games, but most of those covers have come in an underdog role. This team continues to play absolutely no defense, as the 110.2 points per game allowed over the last five games is actually worse than the 107.4 points per game the Warriors are allowing for the whole season. That does not exactly exude confidence when laying this many points, especially to what is probably the better all-around team.
Now the Jazz have been burning money lately, going 3-13-1 ATS in the last 17 contests, but they have rarely gotten more than five points during this skid either. Utah is still being outscored by only 0.9 points per game on the road this year, and we look for them to again take this game right down to the wire vs. this porous defense.
