FUNNY how the lights did not go out.. only the Air Conditioning.
    *
    there are two factors here:

    1) Physical:*Lebron has cramps.. has happened before. i have had them,, you can't walk.. agonizing for a few minutes,*then goes away like never there. In a tight game, the in

    2) Mental/Psychological:*People are superstitious. in critical moments especially.*

We saw this in the*Ravens/49ers Superbowl. The instant the Ravens started to run away with it, the power wentout.... when the game resumed it was ALL San Francisco.. SF basically just ran out of time. It almost worked.

when an athlete is in the moment, and something bad occurs that is beyond their control, it is perceived by many as a sign that everything is beyond their control, and that events are against them.. and their mindset changes,

So, if Lebron has a leg cramp, he will take it as a bad sign, and begin playing poorly, and if Lebron must leave the game, his teammates will also register that as a sign that the stars are against them, and be psychologically affected as well.*

If i was Spoelstra, i would have called my team over and held them. asked for them to deal with the problem.. "fix it. we'll wait"

Stop the whole thing. FULL brakes.

if the Spurs do something UN-expected ... YOU DO something UN-expected.

LeBron only one dumb enough to wear a headband. Body pumping out water to cool itself down but not being able to do so. Soaks up all the sweat, body pumps out more since it still needs to cool and there's your cramps.

If the Spurs did pull this off, who cares...hydration should be the main focus outside of preparing for actual basketball.

Was this the most uncomfortable you ever been playing basketball...?

Bosh - "no, I'm from Dallas man." I couldn't breathe either, I'm sure the Spurs couldn't either"

Wade - "naw, I played on the playground hotter than that."

Tony Parker - "We're use to the heat in Europe"

Duncan - "it was pretty hot, reminded me of playing in St. Croix"

All part of CIA Pop's plan. He has an international squad used to not playing on such cushy conditions. They consider it a luxury just to have indoor plumbing. Heat? Pops foreign legion happy to just not have landmines on the court. Coincidence that thr Spurs American born players didnt play well either until the game was on hand. Pop has taken his coaching to another level.

I don't think there's any evidence that headbands lead to cramps. You still sweat, even with a headband, it just doesn't run down your face into your eyes. Now if he was wearing a full body suit, that would be a huge factor.

I think in this case, he just played too many minutes without a blow. Spoelstra has been riding Lebron into the ground the last 3 years in the playoffs. He has to do a better job of managing his minutes.

brother, of all this is the hardest and the easiest to know.

let me give u an example. this year in nba the sixers were on an epic losing streak, one game away from setting a record. they even made a prop of it giving you ridiculous odds that the sixers were going to set that new losing streak. u know what happened.

Yeah, pulling that out of my ass but he looked like the only one out there not sweating. He has the almost full arm thing on, whatever you call it and the headband. Guy had no sweat on him...at the very least he didn't hydrate enough anyway.
