Why are the Heat not favored in this series?

Seems like easy money like the Year they played OKC. What am I missing?

Maybe the fact that this same SA team took the Heat to 7 games last year. And Needed that Allen 3 pointer late game 6 to win the series in 7. Agree though that the Heat should be favored as I think the King gets his 3rd straight ring.

Because the Spurs are better and deeper than last year. Heat have less shooting(Mike Miller) and Wade is older and Spurs have home court this year. Please don't make me laugh by ever comparing the Spurs to a joke of a team like OKC who's offense is just give it to KD or Westbrick and do whatever comes. Miami could win but I don't think its a mistake they're not favored. Really this would be Miami -135 if they had home court.

Last year was so long time ago. Has nothing to do with this years' finals one bit. If anything, Spurs should be much better roster wise and Heat have gotten worse.

Was betting the Heat against OKC not easy money?

at the same time, the spurs were DESTROYING the heat from 3 pt line. Danny green was having the series of his life. I'm not sure if that'll happen again. & I expect lebron to play better in the early games, not being so passive about jumpshots and attacking basket. & I do feel like Miami is just as good as they were last year, if not better. With all that, i'm still not sure if i'm confident enough to put $ on them

You can't give plus money on the winner.

    Spurs, that is.

The Heat were plus money against OKC two years ago, Dallas was plus money 3 years ago, Boston was a plus winner KG's first year. Yes you can give plus money on a winner.

I have a hard time believing Boston was +money vs. the Lakers in 08. Was that really the case? They had homecourt.

You might have a hard time believing it, but I know it was at least +188 for the series. I hit it big. So I don't want to hear that shit about plus money not being winners.

Yes it was. That is why Lakers were favored in Game 2 in Boston.

    Heat a big underdog here

hes right its the best bench they've ever had...killing teams by 15 or more every game at home in the playoffs? their ball movement is just too good

My post had nothing to do that, poorly worded. Has to do with the Spurs winning the series, that's all. Heat should not be favored, giving plus money with the Spurs would be murder for the books.

Cuz Miami had the softest journey to an NBA finals in avery longtime. Spurs at least had a good challenge in wcf.

easy: because public perception is that the spurs should have won last year plus the spurs have home court.

parker injury? they were down by 7 at the half and even though he did not play the whole second half, they beat a very good thunder team.

    spurs deserve to be favored

    Miami beat nobody
    basically average nba teams

The West 8th seed was better than the East 2 seed

same thing the past 2 years but the heat won.

the west has been better than the east from top to bottom, about the last 12-15 years

Even casual fans, like myself, know Spurs playing better basketball. Better defense. Role players making a difference. Heat needs to play the best series theyve ever played to win this year. Leave nothing to luck.

But this just gives Miami the advantage, they are well rested while the spurs are old and worn down from playing tough series the whole way to the finals

I play at two books, neither show Heat favored in the series. One is SA -120, the other is SA -125.

I would have taken the +105 but was worried the Heat move must have meant Parker was ******.
