They have no team strategy. Just two guys chucking up ridiculous shots and not ever looking for the open man. 1-10 in OT.

The mvp just no shows in the the final five minutes of overtime and tim duncan takes over in overtime. Duncan is a four time nba champ, 14 time all star, 2 time nba mvp , three time mvp in the finals, and class act all around. Guy is just so quiet people forget how great he really is, and how great the spurs dynasty has been over the last 13 years.

Durant likely stays, but only a matter of time until Westbrook leaves OKC, guy will get a ton of blame once again for his OT play and he might want to be the main star somewhere else.

Lol, the two "stars" were 20/48 shooting and had 14 turnovers. Maybe if they passed the ball to the bench they can get a chance to score. Horrible performance by both KD and Westbrook. Complete choke job.

Westbrook was phenomenal in my opinion but the spurs still beat them without parker in the second half, and durant still had 31 points, didnt cover the prop but give it up for the spurs. Tim duncan has one ring behind kobe, two behind jordan. The Spurs hold the longest active consecutive playoffs appearance with 17 appearances since Popovich took over in 1996.

Remember when he flexed against the Clippers? I said it earlier. The guy is one dimensional. Great outside scorer, but he lacks in a lot of other areas. Reminds me a bit of Carmelo Anthony. Guy isn't close to being an MVP. Just because you put up lots of points in the the regular season shouldn't = MVP. Lebron should be the MVP every year he is healthy. Defense is half the battle. Looks how valuable Leonard has been to the Spurs.

I lost every which way tonight, the durant prop was awful but still amazed by the spurs. I like Haralabos Voulgaris retweet tonight

Save your Thunder overreaction for when they lose to a team less amazing than the Spurs.

He is an awesome player and I can't deny his MVP award, but he lacks the power and intimidation factor that James has.

Him and Westbrook need to stop thinking they can hit every shot they put up. KD was the major reason for the 3rd qtr collapse.

They were 20/48 in the game with 14 turnovers. Abysmal numbers.

KD is the guy that can't quit get to the top of the mountain. I wouldn't call him a loser.

While KD is playing the conference and NBA finals a lot of other guys are at home watching.

Carmelo Anthony is more of the loser type.

Also, please stop with the Slim Reaper, Durantula nicknames. If anything, use Duraddy Long Legs. He looks scary like a spider, but can be squashed by even old men. Durant is not a killer. He's a Bronze/Silver medalist. Jordan/Kobe would have told Lebron to go fukk himself if he wanted to train with him. Durant is happy to be second fiddle. Toughen up, be a champion. There is zero chance Lebron lets a game like that get to OT, let alone lose it with a lead in OT.

Durant is good but very unreliable when the going gets tough. Physically weak. I like Durant, he's a good guy but just lacks something. I think he will go ringless.

Durant is an amazing shooter, but not strong enough to get to the rim consistently. And jump shots will only get you so far.

Lebron would be at the rim and get fouled in a game like this no doubt, but come on, give Duncan his due here. He isnt a powerful muscular presence here but he is always there in games like this. Also, an amazing performance by a spurs bench that is the best in basketball and popovich much better than brooks. Without parker in the second half and they still crushed that 3rd quarter, westbrook should have been brought in with parker and duncan sitting, four fouls be damned , that was the time to take a lead. They went into the fourth with a double digit point deficit because they sat westbrook.

Whether Durant is soft or not isnt that big of a deal to me, there are some major physical presences like D.Howard but I would still rather Durant have the ball than the physical guys, but he just doesnt step up like in this overtime. Duncan is mentally tough and wants that ball in a overtime like this, that is why Duncan has 4 rings and is what is the difference between these two teams.

That's it, mental toughness. Timmy wanted it more and if he was gonna go down, he was gonna go down swinging. Timmy brushed the dust off those old post moves and took right at their best defender and did what the truly great ones have to do. Timmy may be quiet, but never underestimate his will to win.
