Heat and Spurs rematch, no need to play the conf finals..........

i wish they had walkovers in the NBA just like they do in tennis.

no need for the Pacers and Thunder to even show up.

just fast forward to the finals.

    Heat over Pacers in 6

    Spurs over Thunder in 5

let's just start the finals so we can see some great games like the 2013 finals,

Two do you have any interest in watching either of these series' if it was not for a bet?

the thunder losing ibaka just sealed their fate. now they have to rely on an injury to parker, duncan or splitter. the spurs can lose manu or anyone else and be just fine. the only chance the thunder have is if any of those 3 i mentioned, get hurt.

No. Without being able to bet on sports I'd probably have a true appreciation of it. I'd also probably be an astronaut.

I think Indiana has a better shot of winning than Oklahoma City in the conference finals

no question. they have home court, they are healthy, and they are physical.

okc has literally no shot barring injury, to beat the spurs in a best of 7

    revenue...

NBA gotta make this as dramatic as possible. Both series will go 7 games. NBA is hurting bad they need to spice things up.

Bear if you look at the last 20 years of the NBA playoffs, only about 40% of the series go 7 games. that obviously means 60% of the series go 4, 5, or 6

where was this "revenue" angle when the Heat beat the Bobcats in 4 and the Nets in 5 ?

where was it when the Spurs beat the Trailblazers in 5?

    etc etc etc

I think this prediction is going to be wrong.

I think Indy will give Miami everything they want. That's going 6 or 8.

The OKC/Spurs series won't end in 5. OKC will win at least two at home. I think that series also goes 6 or 7.

So basically I disagree with this thread. Lol. Well see though.

get off the fence. Will it end in 6 or 7. Make a pick on both series. I said earlier in another thread its 5 max 6 and a spurs win. I'm now saying 5 games and it's over. Pick a number dude

and heat in 6. Make a pick dont say 6 or 7 pick a damn number

LOL. Come on man. Neither one of us can predict the future. I say Thunder in 7 but they might even win in 6. You just made me make a prediction so I'll say seven.

The Spurs are really good team but people are acting like they're the 96 Bulls. People were also hyping them up two years ago after they had won 20 straight and were about to meet OK in the Conference Finals.

How quickly we forget that the #8 seed took them to game seven this year in the first round.

Lazy analysis. How many 8 seeds have had a championship winning coach and star player like Dallas did? Carlisle a d nowitkzki dude. 2008 the celtics were taken 7 games by 8 seed hawks. Then celts do mi ated everyone else for the ring.

Your team is in big big trouble

You have given zero analysis and just said Spurs in five.

Like I said, neither one of us knows what will happen but I can almost guarantee it doesn't end in five.

If Hibbert, West and PG will play great, Miami is finished, so don't be surprised if that happens.

If Indy somehow manages to win this series, they will get dismantled by whoever comes out of the West.

this is the best thing that could have happened. Pacers will become overconfident after the great showing from 3 point land. it also awakens the Heat that they will have to really fight to get to another finals.

game 2 should be a fantastic effort by the Heat and both teams should shoot closer to the their averages

They did not even threaten which is odd in an nba game

not a must win. not by any stretch. they need to win one in indy whether it's game 2 or game 5 does not matter at this point. going down 0-2 would not affect this heat team as much as it would most teams in history. championship pedigree

yes they miss miller's 3 point shooting.

    where else are they weaker?

2nd place in the east in 2012. 2nd place in the east in 2014.

    where is the big difference?

the key is they still have LBJ, wade, bosh, and pretty much the same cast around them in chalmers, allen, battier, anderson, haslem, jones, etc etc.

    they are just fine

0-2. none of these teams are going to the Finals. Outside chance for the Heat but if you think just because Ibaka is out the spurs will walk all over the Thunder....forget about it

The best thing that could have ever happened? Losing game 1? Lol.

The series isn't over by any means after 1 game but it's never good to lose in the playoffs. It's the Eastern Confermce Finals! Teams don't need wake up calls at this point. Come on.
