Knicks are a dead end now and Kerr knows it. Carmelo knows it too. He's gone.

why would anyone coach for the knicks when you can coach for the warriors?

even an idiot would just suit up and go with the warriors.

they are young and they are only gonna get better next year and year after that.

knicks on the other hand, oh boy where do i start...

if you look at all the championship teams phil coached, they were all stacked with talent.

And this was after the Knicks had just improved their offer to four years too.

Look for the players to revolt in Golden State.

They loved Mark Jackson, and will probably hate Whitey.

Don't be surprised if Lee and Bogut have huge years. And maybe half a year for Curry.

    "Steve, wanna coach the Knicks?"

"No. But, hey, Phil, maybe you can help me squeeze stupid money out of the Warriors."

    "Ok."

Exactly. 25 mill for a guy who's never coached before.

Golden St basically a 50 win team and 1st round knockout in playoffs

Maybe Kerr gets them to round 2

    It's a good fit.

The main reason he took the GSW job was familial. His kids are all out in Cali, and he wanted to stay out there.

Golden state is a perennial 1st round out. The West is simply too loaded. Only way they'll get to the 2nd round is if they play Houston.
