The Wizards are playing their best basketball of the season right now. They are a solid cohesive team. I think they could surprise people and end up in the Finals. Pacers are on the decline. They came out stale in game 1 at home vs Hawks and I think they do the same thing here. Not to mention that the Wizards are a young team with fresh legs. Pacers coming off a grueling 7 game series. The young Wizards team wants it more. They're hungrier.

I'm pounding the ML here like never before. That's how good I feel about this team.

It seems pretty clear that the Pacers worked through some things in the first few games. It's unlikely that we'll see the deflated, lost Indy in the second round that we saw in the first. That being said, the Wiz are a pretty solid matchup, and I'd think Nene & Gortat are going to dominate the paint. The Wizards defense, particularly on the perimeter, is a lot tougher than the Hawks, and while the Pacers raised their defensive intensity in the last few games, their offense is still fairly weak. It'll be interesting to see how Indiana tries to attack Washington. I'd lean Wiz as well.

Pacers matched up bad with the Hawks and the Hawks just played out of their asses while Indiana couldn't play any worse.
They got it together the last 2 games.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the Pacers take this series in 5.

I feel like betting against these spots where everyone overreacts to previous results is one of the surest ways to find an edge anymore. Actually the public wins more of their bets than they lose. That doesn't mean public bets are square bets. There is no such thing as a square bet. Just a square player and a sharp player.

the entire series rests on Hibbert. if you think he can control the paint and stay out of foul trouble, go big on pacers. cause wall cant shoot past 17ft and driving into hibbert is a terrible idea when hes on.

Washington does put a lot of pressure on you but the guards have to be aggressive and go to the hoop

Nene was killing the bulls with his mid range game, however I do agree that Hibbert will have an X-factor effect on this series. He's been a real foul machine lately but if he finds his former self. Wiz have no chance.

That was regular season. This is the playoffs. Some teams step up and play above themselves in the playoffs. Washington looks like one of those teams. The Pacers do not.
