Im not sure players will respect Kerr long enough to show positive results, shocks me that Kerr would want to be an NBA coach.

I also don't think Kerr is going to get control of the locker room

I don't like no experience head coaches

They usually fail unless great talent

Kerr would be a fool to sign before the Golden State situation is cleared up.

Kerr should wait until after round 1 is finished. Could be some much better jobs out there than the Knicks position. Thunder, Rockets, Warriors could all fire their coaches if they go out in round 1.

But would those teams want him, a guy with no coaching experience?

Not sure I'm into this hiring, but I do put my trust in Phil Jackson.

One thing I hate about something like this is it doesn't sound like he plans on doing many interviews, and he's just handing this to Kerr.

Lots of good coaches out there to at least have a look at. Especially if Indiana loses this series and they are insane enough to fire Vogul.

True, but Brooks and Jackson had no experience before getting hired as well. Kerr can't be worse than either of them imo, especially Brooks. The Thunder don't even run actual plays, its just give it to KD or give it to Russ and let them figure it out.

I agree that he mostly had unreal teams with the best talent. He is a good coach though I believe. He became that way because he could try all sorts of stuff and not have to worry, if it didn't work one of his superstars would just take over.

Kerr could get control of locker room but would have to trade melo. Melo is a just a guy trying to get his points for the night.

Steve Kerr will win championships. Just like Sandusky did, just like Phil Jackson did. Steve Kerr will be set for life financially after he inks this deal.

Steve Kerr should have his friggin head examined to want to coach the train wreck of a roster like the Knicks...Good Lord...I don't care what Phil Jackson sells his him If the rumors are true about how much the GS Warriors are on the OUTs with Mark Jackson...and how much the owners are in love with Kerr..the roster is Light Years ahead of the Knicks

Why would Knicks re sign Melo???

He is a proven loser and team cancer even though he does play hard

Start over and with new team players
