    Are the Pacers frauds?

I know all teams have hot and cold stretches and you can't take their record away from them.

But I really don't think this team is ready for big things yet as of now.

No, just going through a cold stretch. At the end of the day it is either them or Miami coming out the east.

Not frauds but just kill it in a weak conference. I went from thinking that they'd probably beat the Heat to thinking that there's no penetrating way in hell they beat Miami.

Pieces of shit came back but couldn't close it out. How do you not go 2 for 1 with 47 secs to go? Is ANYONE smart in this league?

    This team has issues.

    Lol yeah no shit.

I'm talking are they actually an elite team. I would take any of the other contenders over them now.

There style doesn't match up well with these west coast teams who get up and down the floor because of Hibbert.....Suns, Portland, Warriors etc all have given them fits.....just bad matchups

Definitely havent been playing the defense they started out with. Allowing bogus teams score high and not covering.

I think they are elite. They proved last year that they were elite when they took Miami to 7 games without home-court. They have definitely improved from last year. They are built to beat Miami. Like Megatron mentioned, they don't matchup very well against the smaller and faster Western Conference teams.

Do they even plan on ever playing Bynum lol? I think they signed him so Miami couldn't get their hands on him.

Wade looked like an average NBA player for 6 games of that series though. And Bosh was playing like an absolute vagina for some reason (even more than usual I'm talking). Miami didn't play well in that series and still never really looked in danger of losing it (won all the pivotal games easily by DD, 3, 5, and 7).

They have improved a bit but I dunno, I'm not sold.

Maybe this is just a knee-jerk reaction. We'll see.

I'd be shocked to see this team win a championship. Shocked.

I felt like Miami was on their heels in that series, maybe we just saw it differently. Wade was horrible for most that series, but I wouldn't invest too much stock in Wade down the stretch with all his knee problems. Battier and Allen arent getting any younger. If anything, Indiana is on the upswing this year, and Miami has probably gotten worst. Allen looks horrible this year, his run may be over.

I don't agree at all about Miami being worse. Bosh has gotten better this year. Wade looks a lot healthier. Their role players don't look as good I agree on that but they're still guys who have proven something in this league and I think can produce in spot minutes.

Indiana is somewhat better though I would agree.

I never felt like Miami was losing that series at all tbh. The only moment where there was an ounce of doubt was maybe HT of game 5 when they were down a couple buckets and had really played an awful half but they ended that game quickly. Game 7 was always gonna be an easy win.

Miami is better this year than ever before IMO - and I know that's a controversial take. Wade is amazing this last 2 week period - he is a top 10 player again (which I never thought I'd say).

I sincerly hope not. I for one am sick of the Heat. Not a hater, but just tired of watching them in the finals.
If everybody on both teams are healthy, should be another tough series, going at least 6.

The funny thing is , when Indy was killing everybody earlier this season, all the chirping was "they don`t get it"
"can`t blow your load in reg season", now when they slip a bit, its like they stink.

To me, every team has tons of flaws. Indy should be more realaxed and ready because of last years experiance.

they were fine.. but they screwed with the recipe..*

when you have the best record in the League.. "change NOTHING"

they went and got Bynum (lockerroom cancer now)

and Even Turner (a young player that does not hate Miami)

Granger better, AND *a TRUE Heat-Hater.. i like the Heat...(so this does not bother me at all)
but strategically it was a poor decision

end of day, it was a wuss/panic move "we're not good enough"
    and it cost them

if it ain't broke.. don't fix it...

and they fixed it not once.. but twice..

i think Pacers doomed. Look at Pat Riley... seasoned pro..
went out and got Oden.. but during year.. did not tinker..

understood that it is better to play your hand with three Kings...
than to exchange cards and hoping to get four Aces.. or a Flush.. or whatever..

lost their edge.. let's see how it plays out*

Paulie George chucking up an 0fer-9, which begs the question ???
At what point do you just create for you teamates...1 assist, 4 T.O.s.
After a loss, going to a fairly tough place to play , be nice if your all-star showed up.

Some people thought this guy was an MVP candidate.

I mean he's a nice player but he's a no show on too many nights for a guy who's supposed to be the best player on a championship team. An "off-night" for a guy like Bron or KD is something along the lines of 19pts, 6reb, 4ast on 9-22.

everyone on here was all over PG's nuts a couple months ago and i laughed then. he's a bum, the guy can't shoot, very inefficient player when it comes to field goal % but i will gladly keep fading them and especially when they play the heat in the playoffs

100% agree. Why they made that trade at this point is mind boggling. Granger was happily coming off the bench and being productive. Plus paul george is way too inconsistent. He is NOT elite. not yet at least. 0-9 with 2 points tonite against MKG whom Carmelo and LBJ have torched this year.
