new york should be favored but they've underperformed all year.

this is the knicks last stand of the season. one loss against a shitty team and kiss playoffs goodnight. that's got to be their mindset, no matter how delusional.

everyone knows knicks can't afford to lose even one of the next four games. those games are all winnable and if the knicks play the right way, should be vs. the pacers with a six game win streak.

they are trash, but so is most of the eastern conference. atlanta is in free fall and could conceivably lose 9 of their next 10 games. so knicks chance to make the playoffs is not a unicorn.

Cavs need this game just as badly as the Knicks do in terms of chasing the 8th seed... Not really sure why people are using the angle that a win tonight is more important for one team than the other.

Cavs are in a more desperate spot. Their schedule is tougher than Knicks, with Suns, Warriors, Clippers, Heat, Okc and Rockets up next. If they lose to the Knicks today, they could potentially be going on a 11 games losing streak which they will surely miss the playoffs.

I agree MEDIA is "overcovering" him but its the guys 2nd year. Cant really call him overrated yet. He has a ton of upside but defense needs major work.
