Jimmer should have gone to the hawks, Korver could teach him a thing or 2.

What difference does his color make? I'm saying he's more like Ben Gordon because he's a shotter that can't D up....and he's an undersized shooting guard. Dunleavy is more of a SF.

You can learn to play some D if u want to, but having his range and accuracy can't be taught. Its up to him now!

I agree, especially because Bulls are more about Team D than individual D. It's all about help and rotation. Don't have to be great, just have to try hard and be coachable. Even Korver actually picked it up pretty well when he was with the Bulls.

I think they are kind of are

but you can only move on so much, still got to pay the guy. But I anyone in the organization if they could say it honestly would say they don't expect much from him.

and the fact of the matter is that the Bulls are able to plug just about anyone into the position and get good results.

    see

    DJ Augustine
    Nate Robinson
    Cj Watson
    John Lucas III
    Mike James

You're way overstating the matter. I think it's true that it's impossible to say with confidence how he'll bounce back, it's just unknown but I think the likely expectation is that he'll bounce back and be very good again, even if not quite as elite. And good results is not the ultimate goal. James, Lucas and Watson? Really? Bulls absolutely must keep Augustin though, he's been the ideal fit for the team and for him too.

Still very young and too early to write that kind of talent off.

They should just let go of rose asap. A player like him is just an injury more away from the end of his career.

You could say the second sentence about every single player in every single sport.

I really hope that doesn't happen. I really miss watching Rose play. Like Yis said he was the one who created everything on that team. I also don't think that he is going to come back though. I just don't think that his body is going to hold up

Not really some players can recover and play throughout. Look how many times Westbrook had surgery this year and he's playing Rose is just soft and smart making money from the sidelines

The timing was different. Westbrook was out just as long, but he had his MCL surgery in April or May. He was out for like 6 months. Same timeline for Rose.

Impossible to just "let him go". Are you saying trade? They can't just release him and he's not eligible for amnesty. I think he has 3 years left on this deal. Short of a struck, they're stuck.

your right on. They cant do a thing with him unless he gets healthy for three years. With his contract it would be stupid to what just drop him? not going to happen

    http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/story...xx_sce_nba_xxx

In his next column, Amin Elhassan can explain why Michael Jordan is no longer Chicago's franchise player.

No one even knows if Rose will ever return to form, so obviously Noah is more important. I don't need someone to write a column to explain that.

If Rose is injured again next year then I will write him off as a franchise guy. As for Jimmer, he sucks in the NBA. At best he's a token white guy at end of bench.

lol. everyone got to have a token white guy at the end of the bench. Rose has more weird injuries I just think that there is more going on with him injury wise than he lets on

He has only appeared in two games, both times late in blowouts, and he has a grand total of 4 points and 2 rebounds in 6 minutes.

Bulls rotation is pretty much set, he'll only play if there's injury or foul trouble. Maybe he'll crack rotation late in season, but unlikely. Can't just play for Thibs, gotta know system, and practice team is limited late in the season. Augustin was an exception. Bulls needed him and he picked it up fast.
