    Brooklyn vs Spurs

    With Parker officially out you have 2 starters out plus Ginobli and 2 starters that just returned, Green and Splitter. Green looks fine except for being pressed for 40+ mins of work last night. Tiago is off, his play was the reason they needed a pair of OT's to dispatch Wash. He's playing hurt.

    Patty Mills having the time of his life with all the injuries. He's a 3 min a night guy now getting 40.

    I saw the rumor that Duncan might not play. Not a buyer. Timmy had a great game last night. Pop will probably limit him to 28 mins tonight. Boris and Tiago will be fine.

    Spurs still deep and dangerous. 6 is too many. If you really think about the injuries the loss of Leonard is huge but Parker has Mills and Joeseph and Manu is playing so bad that his loss is a slight positive. Splitter playing hurt is the other negative. At +210 that is a good price even on a back to back after a dbl OT.

    The Nets are very erratic this year it's very hard to make a case to bet them

    Although an average Washington team took the spurs to the limit last night

    I would think they sharp play is Brooklyn

    Changes the bet. Looks like Pop is ok with throwing this one. With Splitter gimpy the Spurs front line will be an interesting one. I guess they throw in Aron Baynes for 20 to 30 mins. He's even money to foul out.

    I am only seeing Duncan as Doubtful, though I doubt Pop will fight the urge to play him given his history of resting veterans.

    +6 WITH Duncan. I'm on the Nets with Duncan in street cloths. Think about it, there is no reason to at least rotate in Duncan IF Pop wanted to win this game. Duncan fouled out of the 1st OT last night and looked great, he was an animal.

    Well said, I didn't know Duncan was out - I see now it is confirmed. I have to agree, I like some totals today and NCAAB. Probably will avoid this game entirely. Good luck

    I'm trying to figure out this logic: with Duncan you'd be on the Spurs to win outright, but without him, you're laying the 6? And do you honestly think the books would make the Spurs +6 against the fuggin' Nets if they thought TD was playing? WTF? That line obviously reflects him being out even before it was official.

    Yea, I'll admit that. I thought the line was because Tony was scratched. The Spurs are deep covering for Tony. Without Duncan they lose a bunch of defense along with the 20+ points and 10 boards. So I would take the 6 with Tim or lay it without him.
