Is there any team in the East that can push the Pacers & Heat

-Can't help but to think Brooklyn will get it together at some point.
-Charlotte plays defense but can't score
-Chicago is cooked after Rose's injury.
    -Knicks? No
-Hawks play the Heat tough, maybe they can if they pick up a piece or two at the deadline?

i'm wondering if we might see some "blockbuster" type trades this year before the deadline

you never know what can happen with a change of chemistry, it doesn't always take huge trades

pistons might have a shot in a series, but doubt they can take out both

    Only if there are injuries.

Nets are toast too. They won't get it together. After seeing their game against the Bulls on Christmas, they aren't a team that will contend. I never felt they would anyway, by signing the senior citizens from Boston. Plus their coach is a joke.

Pacers may run themselves dry in the regular season. Trying so damn hard to get the #1 seed. As much as their focus is on it, they are just 1 game up on the Heat.

    Pistons could bounce the Pacers.

    No

    pistons are no competition either

they might steal a game, but theres no way they can win a series vs indiana or miami

    same with atlanta

East is toast. If Heat or Pacers lose before the conference finals then it's a cake walk to the Finals

Nets maybe could have with Lopez but now no.

    Other than that... Nah.

Lock up the ECF barring at least 2 major injuries for either team.

No one else will even win 50 games. East is the nfc west of the nfl a few years ago, even the winners are losers.

How long will Horford be out? Atlanta will struggle badly without him. So the Hawks Big 3 is Milsap, Teague and Korver? Really?

The East is so beyond bad. I still think Thibodeau will somehow drive his team hard enough to a .500+ record which could end up 3/4 in the East.
