Bob Harvey: Knicks -1 vs Hornets

    Knicks -1 vs Hornets

    Game Time: 3/16/2007 7:30:00 PM
    By: Bob Harvey

Trying to push their way into the playoffs, look for a strong effort tonight from the Knicks with they host the New Orleans Hornets at Madison Square Garden.

I honestly thought the number for this one would be a lot higher, so I see a lot of value with the Knicks tonight.

The Hornets are on a season-long six game losing streak and the players are starting to grumble. Plus point guard Chris Paul is hurt (foot and thumb injuries) and how much he'll play tonight is still to be determined.

The Knicks have dropped two of their last but remain just percentage points behind Orlando for the eighth and final playoff spot in the East. New York is 9-2 against the spread in their last 11 outings and 5-2 against the number on two days rest. The Knicks are battling for their playoff lives while the Hornets have just too many injuries to keep this one close.

    Play: Knicks -1
