    Charlotte@Detroit

These are two pretty surprising teams in the East so far this campaign. Charlotte is the best road dog in the league going 9-1-1 and they are off a straight up buzzer beater victory over the Raptors plus the 7 points.

Detroit is 6-2 ATS and 7-1 SU vs. the Cats the last 3 years. The Pistons looked like they caught a flat spot in Boston after beating Indiana, but they came back from 21 down (11 at the half) to win their 2nd straight road game thanks to a great effort from Brandon Jennings. They are just 2-7 ATS in their last 9 at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Road Dogs opening +5.5 are 11-3 ATS this year, but barely over 50% the L5Y.

You can get Charlotte at +6.5 right now, and that looks pretty good to me.

    Thoughts?

I've been following the Bobcats and I have noticed that they have been covering the spread for the past few games. I would buy the extra point if I have to. My money is also on Bobcats +6.5 (B+1.5). Charlotte Bobcats are usually money. BOL. Cheers.

    Luckiest hit ever.

It's all coin toss shit, whoever's pointguard, big or whomever is hot on the day. Cats had one bloke hot towards the end and the Pistons got nervous about losing after having a 20 point lead and practically they choked.

If it wins you're a G, even though it wasn't quite how you saw it. Luck.

Entire NBA is coin toss shit anwayy. Pistons couldn't play with any composure and Josh Smith choking all over the place.

@krangler don't get too excited about you win kid cause chances are you will probably lose it tomorrow. Nobody makes money of the nba in the long run, the house always wins.

I will agree... I'm from Detroit and I watched Charlotte get back in the game on Fox Sports Detroit. Refs weren't helping Pistons at all. It was that NBA official Zack Zarba that called everything against Detroit. I'm very surprised some Pistons players didn't get technicals. Guy is such a cocky fuk. Guy never calls a balanced game. I had Charlotte by the way +6. I feel bad for you folks because clearly the refs didn't want Detroit to cover. Al Jefferson did get hot at the end of the game... making everything. But... Detroit was getting mauled under the basket by Charlotte... and the refs just said play on.

Call it whatever you want, I watch a lot of NBA games and being up 20 points in the first HALF does not get you an automatic win.

What's more is Josh Smith is a proven choke artist. He is the epitome of an inconsistent star (if you want to call him that), having big games and then disappearing. Jennings couldn't bail them out like he did in Boston and they lost.

If you don't like betting the NBA then don't bet it, and stop hating on a guy's winning pick. I'm sure when I lose you'll be the first in line to dump on my face.

That's cool though, I just thought I'd post my pick today, for the first time ever in this forum...maybe I'll think twice about sharing my analysis and insight you ungrateful sod.

If you think betting the NBA is a coin toss, and you so obviously hate betting it, why don't you stop betting it?

If you're good at NFL, stick to that and stop hating bro.

Just posting my opinion, and I SEE that you were on the other side. May your next pick be a winner, bud.

    Cheers.

This is the NBA, not really surprising at all. If the Heat and Pacers actually gave effort they wouldn't have beaten them. Pistons are pretty much what we expected them to be, a 5-8 seed.

Detroit Lions went cold too. Golden State went cold the other night. Wolves went cold. Cowboys went cold. Sorry JJ GTFO here. You sound like you are a bookie. They simply laid down because they knew who had to win. Stop pretending.
