    Klay Thompson Overrated

    This guy was considered a stud in the making after making some 3 PT's last year.

    He plays horrible defense, can't pass, and cannot make a contested jumper.

    He's too slow to create space as well.

    He isn't close to a stud. Solid 6 man if you ask me

    While I'm on it, Bogut is about as useless as Tiago Splitter.

    I'd play Draymond Green @ the 4 and go small if I'm Mark Jackson.

    Second, you're wrong. Thompson is a good, young player. No LeBron James. But, who is? He's about equal to Leonard for the Spurs.

    OKC needs Durant (the better player) AND Westbrook in order to win in the playoffs just like GS needs both of the Splash Brothers in order to win in the playoffs. Curry is clearly the better player, but the team needs both.

    Who really cares about the NBA though? The only consistent money is the crazy juiced Miami Heat playoff series prices.

    The NBA is a toss-up from night to night and we all know it.

    Thompson is a splitting image of Peja Stoyakovich, just in the black version.
    20 a game, nothing else. Can't defend, he's not even quick or overly athletic, but can hit a big shot for you at the end. He will be a starter for many years though deemer. He's just one of those guys in your lineup that gets you buckets. Wouldn't want him on my squad, but if you're stuck with him, it's not that bad either because he's gonna win some games for you in the final minutes.

    I agree with the OP that K.Thompson is overrated, he is basically a one trick pony that makes open jump shots but can't create for himself or others off the dribble. He started this season hot but only averaged 15ppts for the last 5 or so games. He is the kind of player that can get hot for a few games and help you trounce a weak oppenent but when playing against better defence and experienced teams his one dimension game tends to get exposed. Like the poster above said he is a bit like Peja.

    Overrated, BUT he has a few things in his bag of tricks that I like. Honestly he overthinks things and he is waaaay too hot and cold. He will get better and if he doesn't his shot will still keep him around for the next decade.

    I have been laughing since last playoffs when everyone started calling them the best guard combo in the league and I have actually heard announcers saying that they are the best guard combo in the history of the league....yes...history. Wow....now that's funny.

    Klay is just going through a shooting slump right now and his confidence is obviously down which is affecting every other aspect of his game. None of the warriors are top tier defenders, so singling your him out is unfair because of the switch-man D the warriors play. Thompson plays solid D and has great fundamental footwork IMO. Bogut is the weakest link on that team and I don't think he fits in well with that group of guys. I was 7th row at the suns/warriors game last Sunday and my impression of the warriors attitude towards him was that don't trust him with the ball. I saw lots of times where guys would roll their eyes or shake their heads after Bogut made another bad pass or took a poor shot. I say trade Bogut form a Bargniani type guy that can spread the floor a bit more to let Thompson and curry do what they do best. And Draymond Green is TERRIBLE and has no place on any NBA team. Guy looks like a fish out of water on offense.

    guy wants to trade bogut for bargs type maybe he didn't have the biggest game but he still was 3-3 18reb and solid d why do you think gs gave him extension because hes one of the best ring protectors and is known for his effort on d, gs have been sucking because iggys been out you can't have klay, curry and lee in starting 5 with bogut the only one picking the slack on d look at last year gs last year he was huge against denver and why do you think there's rumours about lee trade and not bogut when lee was gs all star player last year
