Golden State Warriors (-2) vs Washington Wizards @ -120 (2x) \ 112 : 96
Golden State go for their ninth straight win overall when they continue their seven-game trip at Washington. Golden State has not won nine straight since December of 1975 and they will try to repeat it again against struggle Wizards squad.
Washington pulled to .500 after finishing 2013 with winning five of their last six games, averaging 105.2 points, but has seen the offense drop off dramatically in the first two games of January. The Wizards blow a late lead to 87-78 loss vs Dallas on Wednesday and were blown out 101-88 by the Toronto Raptors on Friday managed just 78 against the Mavericks and then 88 against the surging Raptors, they was with no injuries and both games were at home and it's not like Dallas and Toronto are defensive powerhouses.
After a big win in Miami on Thursday, the Warriors looked ready for a letdown when they faced Atlanta Hawks on friday, with 7 minutes left to the end, they were down by 15pts but they stormed back all the way to Iguodala’s 3pts buzzer beater and won 100:101. "Great teams don't make excuses. And we're trying to become great, which makes me even more proud of them," Jackson said. "They could have easily said, 'We're 3-0 on this trip, we lost to the Hawks after a big win last night.' But this team has no quit. They are high character (guys), they enjoy one another, and when you do the right things, great things happen."
David Lee scored a game-high 23 points, Stephen Curry added 22 despite shooting 1 of 7 from 3-point range, and Klay Thompson finished with 21 for the Warriors, who haven't lost since falling to San Antonio on a last-second shot Dec. 19. "We have a lot of confidence. When we were down no one was panicking or quitting on the game," said Curry, who scored 36 points the previous night. "So for us to make the plays down the stretch, get the stops and get the rebounds to give ourselves a shot, and then Andre taking over, that's a credit to every single guy on the floor." Curry scored 35 points as the Warriors beat Washington 101-92 in the most recent meeting March 23, marking their fifth straight victory in the series.
Overoll, Warriors are better in almost every parameter, ovr points, better bench, edge in field goal and rebounding especially outside the erc so we cant argue about who is the favorite here,Washington has not beaten a team with a winning record since a 108-101 win over Atlanta on Nov. 30 and with their current form,it will be hard to see them do it tonight.
Good luck
