    Regul8er's NBA Wednesday Card (11/17/2009)

Only 1 NBA pick on the card today:

    1) San Antonio Spurs (ML, +108)

This line has actually went from Dallas being a 1.5 point favorite to a PK since I stamped my ticket about 15 minutes ago.

The Spurs have been pretty inconsistent this year, and have still yet to win on the road. They finally appear to be healthy, which will certainly help and make for a higher quality of player logging minutes off the bench. What really stands out to me is the fact that the Spurs beat the Mavericks a week ago by 9 without the services of Duncan and Parker. With the Spurs only playing one game since that matchup, they will be well rested, which is a bonus for an aging team. The Mavs have played 3 since.

The Mavs are coming off a very nice overtime win at Milwaukee. They are off to a very nice 8-3 start in the west, but have a few question marks entering tonights contest. Howard is still out with an ankle injury, Marion sprained his ankle on Monday, and were still unsure of Dampier's illness that he came across on the latest roadtrip. If these two are unable to go, or play limited roles the Mavs will have to ask for heavy minutes from untested Rodrigue Beaubois, Quinton Ross and Humphries. If these guys end up getting stuck on the floor with Parker/Duncan/Manu/Jefferson.....oh myyyyyy could get ugly.

Below is the link for my writeup of my NCAAB card for tonight. GoodLuck tonight!!

I like it, but found some other games I liked.

Spurs should win. I feel they will be the better team overall.
