Friday 11-13-09 Plays!!!!
Friday the 13th. Usually bad luck day but today I'm feeling extra lucky!!!! Been losing my ass in the NBA but I'm feeling a turn around starting today. Here are the plays:
Boston/Hawks over 193 (-110). I know this total seems high but I believe it is high for a reason. The Hawks are giving up over 100 to every team this year on the road. The Hawks seem to want to run and gun and they have an extra boost of offense this year with Jamal Crawford. I really like the addition to Crawford on this team. He gives them extra youth and offense that they didn't have last year. I don't see Atlanta having too many offensive struggles this year. I think they can beat the +9 point spread and possibly come close to winning the game but I'm playing the overs here.. Both teams had a day or so rest and are ready to shoot their load.. I see alot of offense and a lack of defense in this game.. $330 to win $300
New York ml (-160). I see the Knicks winning this probable game because of Golden State's horrendous play on the road. Golden State's players and coaches are in-fighting and I see total confusion here. I would play the Knicks on the spread but the moneyline is low so I will plug in the moneyline. $160 to win $100
Portland/New Orleans under 189 B+1.5 (-140). I see an unders here as New Orleans is a 92-96 ppg team and Portland likes to slow games down, especially on the road. I see the total stopping at 185 or less. Hopefully. $140 to win $100
Utah/Philly under 197 B+.5 (-120). I see this being a 185-189 type scoring game. Utah doesn't score much on the road and Philly can't score at all anywhere. Both Philly and Utah usually run into dead spots in the 2nd half. I am looking for that to happen tonite.. $63.20 to win $56.00
