    why not just backtest it?

last season in just version 1 plays (aka all opponents are from the opposite conference), buying NO points...
    27-28-5 A bets
    30-29-2 B bets
    30-31 C bets

87-88-7 overall. and thus if you played it reverse...you would have been 88-87-7. so you would have just lost a bunch of juice.

unless you think that the jm system has grown in popularity enough from last year to this year to manipulate all of the books lines to give you a significant advantage. i think in the WNBA, with a smaller market, you may be right. but the nba's probably too big....and there's enough normal cappers/touts that if they see a line that's noticably different from what it should be (the books attempt at making jm bettors lose)...they'll take advantage and the line will be moved back to where it would normally be.

corona is right. Whether one plays the JM system ATS, with no chase and no filters, or fades the system in the same way, all you get is a 50% record either way, and your losses will occur on the juice.

The reason the JM system is so successful is because of the 3 points, the chase, and the filters. Playing it or fading it without these things will make you lose either way because of the juice.
