I'm not so sure the Lakers will be cohesive offensively. Doc Rivers is a defensive coach, not sure he's going to be having the Clips flying-high with all that BS "lob-city" stuff like last year. I think D'Antoni's only chance is to slow and play a half-court game in this matchup, esp. with Kaman and Gasol on the floor. D’Antoni’s main offensive weapon is Pau Gasol and he'll be defended by De'Andre Jordan, I do not seeing the Lakers playing a run-gun game.

If anything Rivers likes to win- as everyone knows - by limiting turnovers and holding opponents defensively.

I think most of the public-perception here is Clips previous year of scoring prowess, hence the 70% on the 'over'. I know some do not give much credence to the "public" perspective, just another way of approaching analysis, certainly is not the litmus test.

First game of the year for my Lakers, I'd like to see them win, but I highly doubt it.
